I think it's gone rather well. She has stretched slightly but at this stage after using a micro fracture it doesn't matter. As she isn't strictly in veg this seedling is in a humidity dome with a 30w cfl with a tempriture of 5500K. She will stay in the humidity dome until she is 4 inches tall.
Sorry was a bit late.. I've introduced ionic cal mag and stopped using route juice. She is now free from the humidity dome and under a 300w Mars Hydro LED
Almost time to repot into an 8 container... Notice that the tip of the leaf at the very bottom? This is a good indication that the nutrient dose of nitrogen needs increasing.. Catching it at this point is harmless and and does not shock the plant and doesn't slow down the plants growth
I apologise to everyone for such a delay but we had a massive heat wave and she got sick. As you can see she has undergone a lot of heat stress with tempritures in my grow room reaching 33C, i know know next to to prepare for heat waves with co2. In the other picture yo can see within a few days she's really perked up being in a cooler place and treated with ionic cal mag
As you can see all signs of stress has almost disappeared and now i can introduce biogrow nutrients. I have main lined this plant and topped all 4 colas
OK now it gets interesting I have transplanted purple queen into her 3rd and final pot with a very well established root system. I used biobizz light mix that contains just enough nutrients for seedlings, i mixed into the soil before transplanting Royal Queen Seeds 'Easy Grow Organic Nutrition' pellets which allows me to only use water no liquid nutrients for upto 12 weeks.. However i will be using Royal Queen Seeds easy grow booster tablets not to be mistaken for a tablet firm of bio grow or bloom but more of a supplement.. As you can see there's some scars from the heatwave in the leaves but they have healed and are photosynthesising well judging from the emerald green.. As you can also tell its shrunk 2 inches that's because its now completely flat at the point she was topped at the main cola ... I'm trying my best to keep almost perfect symmetry whilest trying to keep all branches growing at the same pace to form a flat line halo or reaf... Brings new meaning to the name.. Reafa
OK now it's getting interesting.. I've mixed together the black tablet from the Royal Queen Seeds Booster combo and fed her with it for the second time. Judging from the green of the leaves i don't think is too bad at all and all I've done is water after throwing a tablet in to dissolve.. Wouldn't need to check pH or anything else just water with tap water but i recorded those reading for everyone's benifits .. This plant hasn't had a single dose of nutrients except for the RQS soil pellets and the booster tablet...I decided to FIM her for fun to see what happens and that's not too bad either.. Thank you for reading
I am so happy with the Royal Queen Seeds easy grow pellets and the nutrient tablet 5 euro per plant is a steal I'll be using the bloom tablet today and switching up the lights
I used main lining and a fair bit of defoliation.. I tied her down but I kept rearranging the stems and lowering or raising the branches to create an even canopy so that the energy is distributed equally to each cola. I also lolly popped the branches in an attempt to keep the buds joined
Congrats on the harvest, hope all is well. Still got mine going, haven't even checked her trichomes yet as i'm not seeing enough brown hairs. May do an update later of where she's at as I was going to chop at day 70!
Mines 5 weeks older with atleast another 3 weeks weeks before 3 week dark room phase and a 2 week flush nugs are rock solid on the plant i harvest mine just before seeding so that the trichomes are as close to 100 percent Amber as possible and to get that extra bit of yield and resin production by splitting the stems but that's a while off yet
