Medi420 Put seeds in distilled water for 14-16 hrs then transferred them over to wet napkin in a dark cabinet for a few days.
Nice tap roots so planted them into rapid rooter cubes and put them in a humidity dome and 20 degree warming mat underneath.

Medi420 Lost one of the 4 seedlings, it had an ulceration on the stem that went almost half way through. I probably should have taken a picture of it but I forgot.
These seeds were ones I found at the bottom of a bag so it was always going to be a shot in the dark if they worked.
The rapid rooters I used keep moisture well, they are still in the warming bed

Medi420 Lost another seedling, I think the soil is too wet, need to make sure all excess water is able to runoff.
I’m trying to get my humidity increased to see if it helps the plants as they seem super small, also possible that seeds make not be very viable.
Going to see what becomes of them in the next week or two.

Medi420 I lost another one this week, had a friend come over to tell me “too much water, no harm in letting it be a bit dry, it’s a weed”
Damn it, and I was trying to be conscious of not doing that.
But I am learning as I go, so that’s awesome. For each seedling lost I have taken a good look at how the roots were developing and each week had shown decent root growth. Probably should have taken photos.
So I have one left out of this batch of seeds, let’s see how it does.
It goes into a bigger pot (3 gal) next week.

Medi420 Finally caught up with my posts for the last couple of weeks.
I think I’m going to try and post my notes on here daily instead of on paper then transposing it here. I saw the idea on a diary here @PrairieFrostGrow and I enjoyed their diary, very in depth and maybe it will help me not over water this one.
Transplanted this into a 3 gal fibre pot today, the roots looked amazing, I tried to take a photo but it didn’t come out very well and I didn’t want to handle the plant too long so I planted it and gave it a bit of water
Will probably start nutrients next feed, and I added an Exhale 365 CO2 bag to the tent.
Gave a small feeding (150 ml) today with some nutrients, she is looking really good for just being transplanted, I was expecting for her to looked stressed but nope.
Trying to get a better humidity level in the space, have added a humidifier to the fold and an oscillating fan to help build a sturdy stalk, also put a variable control on the main fan as I found it was pulling air out too fast.
Humidity in mid 30s to 40, seems the best I can do even with the humidifier.
Topped this a few days after transplant, and now starting LST. (Fingers crossed this works)

Medi420 Personally been a rough week so short and sweet is how we go today.
Doing water water feed cycle so as not to over feed it nutrients, giving 300-350 ml water per feed and from the bottom.
Stalk is starting to thicken nicely, very happy with the progress

Medi420 She’s starting to branch out a bit so I’m going to try and train her to go around the cage.
Already topped her and waiting for more nodes to grow so I can top her again.
Water water feed schedule seems to work well and I’ve increased water amount as she’s pretty hungry.
Looking good 🙏🏻
Best of luck on the grow and diary 🍁🍀❤️
Great choice. Casting a spell of success on this one 🧙♀️❄️ 👍🏻
Happy growing #420 ❤️
I predict some frosty nugs ❄️
