First time growing in a tent, fabric pots, or growing autoflowers. I think it'll be a good grow! I have a phone set up with an app that updates a picture to my website every minute, that way I can monitor the grow remotely. grow.dabs.rip
Planted all of the seedlings into their final pots so I don't have to touch them later. First week was alright. I think the lights were too bright and the humidity was too low for them to really thrive
Plants are growing well, still haven't watered them since germination. I'll definitely water them at the end of the week. The photoperiods are definitely growing faster than the autoflowers
Started LST this week and watered them for the first time. They seem to be doing alright, smaller than I had hoped. Two of the plants are showing pistils, they're probably going to go full flowering next week
Keeping up LST. The autos are definitely flowering hard. I topped the AK-47 and Sour Diesel so I can start to train them. Really starting to smell stronger than expected already. I also planted another White Widow Auto and am going to keep an opaque bucket on top of it to keep the light down and humidity up
Tough end of the week - looks like the Black Lemon on the right started to get a calcium deficiency.
~ Started to add CalMag
~ Added a 40L dehumidifier outside the tent to drop the humidity during flower, trying to get the watering caught up with how droopy the plants became.
~ Lowered my light 12" and almost doubled my Lux
~ Germinated another Pyramid Seeds "White Widow" and am keeping it under the bucket to keep humidity up and light levels lower
Pretty good week, plants are adjusting to the dryer humidity. I'm not used to the fabric pots and having to water this often.
There are some leaves in the middle of two of the flowering plants that got some brown spots and are now turning yellow. Decided not to worry about it.
I'm excited about how many trichomes are developing already!
BAD WEEK!
I thought my pH meter broke, or just needed to be calibrated again. I was wrong and fed two of my plants a nutrient solution of 4.11pH for three times in a row!
They were hit pretty hard :( I lost about a third of my leaves, and the rest turned yellow pretty quickly.
I did a large flush on the 17th with Fox Farms Sledgehammer, I've never used it before but it's been a couple of days and the two plants seem happy enough!
Other than that, all the other ladies seem to be doing well :) I'm curious about the Black Lemon, as it is still completely green and not showing any signs of purple at all. I will experiment and try dropping the temperature another 5 degrees and see if it has any effect.
Good week!
The ladies are starting to really grow big, the tent is getting cramped.
After flushing the two plants last week, they're looking much better. The White Widow is starting to have amber trichomes on the outside of the sugar leaves
The next Black Lemon and White Widow plants are in full flower now too. I think they're going to have a much bigger harvest than the first few; they're already way bigger.
Good Week!
Did the final flush for a Black Lemon and a White Widow. I may have flushed the Black Lemon a little early, but the White Widow was past due. I also flushed my two photoperiods (AK-47 and Sour Diesel) just to help with salt buildup.
Went out of town for a week and the camera came unplugged so I'm missing a bunch of pictures for the end of this week and next.
Final Week for two of the plants!
It's the last week for one of the Black Lemon plants and a White Widow as well. They've both been flushed and the Black Lemon is definitely starting to lose the green in its leaves and gain more purple as well. The White Widow is keeping the majority of its green leaves, but will still be ready to harvest soon.
My only concern now is how yellow my other White Widow is becoming. It looks like a nitrogen deficiency, but I haven't changed any factors for her compared to anyone else. I added a little extra veg nutes to her cocktail this week to see if I can darken her up a bit.
The tent was getting too crowded and my Sour Diesel was getting too shaggy. So I took her out, cloned 20 branches off her, and put her in her own makeshift grow area until the tent opens up more.
