fraankiiee We started the 3rd week by applying LST early to one of the lettuce plants, let's see if that helps it get more light. The other one I'm going to leave to its own devices, let's see which of the two produces more.
I've noticed that one of the lettuce plants, at the second node, has put out 4 shoots, while the previous node has 2 shoots and the other lettuce only has 2 shoots. I guess it's a genetic mutation because the next node is also coming with 4 shoots. I think I've been lucky. 😜
I've changed the light schedule to 20/4, as I believe that all living beings need a minimum of dark hours to rest; it's not a machine that can run 24/7.
I've fed them with 1 ml/l of Growth Boom to give them strength before flowering starts in the coming weeks. I won't give them any more supplements until the 2nd week of flowering.
Little by little, I'm raising the pH and EC of the solution.
They look beautiful. I hope they stay like this throughout the cycle.
By the middle of this week, the first pre-flowers of the lettuce plants have started to appear. This is going wonderfully. 💪

fraankiiee This week the first flowers have started to appear.
It's growing in an incredible way, you can tell they are XL. @Sweet_Seeds has done a great job with this genetics. Let's hope it behaves the same during flowering!!
This week I've only watered it with water and still have some yellowing tips. I'll continue with just water this week as well.
VPD: 0.9
It's looking great, with many flowering points and growing at lightning speed.

fraankiiee The dark devil has come to possess these flowers!!
These ladies have started their second week of flowering with a low nutrient input to ensure the transition to flowering is optimal. You can see they are absorbing all the nutrients stored in the lower leaves.
I've raised the pH and EC of the solution a bit so they can absorb the necessary nutrients for flowering, as well as the humidity and VPD, which is at 1.2.
They have grown quite a bit this week in height and in flower development; you can already see the magnificent color of the calyxes, a dark purple that reminds me of little berries or blueberries.
You can appreciate the great hybrid vigor of this genetic, as in three weeks of vegetation the first pre-flowers started to appear. It has a much greater internodal distance than its apartment mates (https://growdiaries.com/diaries/98064-grow-journal-by-fraankiiee) ;), although it isn't very tall, making it perfect for my G-Tools cabinet, with plenty of lateral branches.
@Sweet_Seeds hit the nail on the head with the name they gave this genetic because it looks like the dark devil is possessing the flowers. Can't wait to see those magnificent colors in all its flowers.
This grow looks amazing!!!💪

fraankiiee The dark devil is already here!!👺
These ladies have started the third week of flowering with a nutrient boost to give the flowers everything they need. You can see they are absorbing all the nutrients stored in the lower leaves.
I've raised the pH and EC of the solution a bit so they can absorb the necessary nutrients; the VPD is 1.4 kPa.
They haven't grown much this week, although there has been development in the flowers. You can already see the magnificent color of the calyxes, a dark purple that reminds me of little berries, blueberries, or grapes.

fraankiiee This week the temperature has gone up a bit here in the south and the humidity has dropped!! 😕.
They have changed color quite a bit and the flowers have fattened up nicely, although they haven't grown at all. I don't know if that color is normal or if it's some deficiency, or maybe the light is too close.
I've increased the nutrient dosage for these last weeks of fattening.
They look good, although I'm a little scared about the color the leaves are taking on. Maybe this light is taking all the colors out of the flowers. 😉
What wonderful smells are in the closet!!! It smells like black grapes, raisins, berries, cherries... Between these flowers and those of their apartment neighbors, it's hard for me to camouflage the smell.
Are these colors on the leaves normal?
There are some leaves that have turned a yellow color that scares me.
I don't know if I have the light too close, although I don't see any signs of burning.
What do you all think?
this colors are called Autumn colors, that means her life circle is ending... plant sucks all the remaining nutes out of the plant, the chlorophyll goes back
so happy harvesttime ( soon=)
fraankiiee This week, the ladies have bulked up quite a bit. The pistils might be about 50% oxidized, and the trichomes keep getting fatter.
The temperatures are still high, which is causing slower development.
There's a strong smell of grapes and berries in the closet. I wouldn't be able to accurately define the terpenes of these flowers, but just from the smell they have, I imagine the taste will be incredible. It smells like Rioja wine, fruity... I don't know, a wonderful scent.
This week I gave them a good dose of nutrients, and next week I'll start flushing the roots to prepare them for harvest around week 10.
The end is approaching.

fraankiiee Last week for these ladies.
I gave them 5 liters of water with a pH of 6.0 to flush the roots.
In the next few days, I'll cut the flowers from all the tops and leave three or four more days for the lower flowers to mature.
What beautiful autumn colors!!

fraankiiee Yes, indeed. This week is the final one.
I cut all the tips and, honestly, it has an incredible flavor. It grew quite well, although it didn't gain much weight.
Weight of the wet buds: 201.3 g.
Weight of the dry buds: 56.7 g.
I hope to get another 50 g. dry from the rest that’s left.
It seems to have bulked up quite a bit at the bottom. The temperatures are very high, but still, they keep fattening and growing. This strain looks strong and recovers very well from stress. 😋
Tiene un sabor a uvas y bayas increíble. Muy buena para fumarla a cualquier hora. Los cogollos no son tan apretados como esperaba. En definitiva me ha gustado mucho, volveré a plantarla después del verano.

fraankiiee It has lost a lot of weight during drying. I was expecting to get more weight for the volume it has.
Thank you very much for trusting our strains, and sharing your experience.
We will try to work harder to improve that score ;)
We hope you enjoy the harvest 👌
Sweet smokes!

@Sweet_Seeds,
The truth is that I was surprised by the color and the flavor, but I was expecting tighter and more solid buds.
I hope to improve as well to get the most out of this flower. 👌
@@no_handed_bong_chonger,
Root washing week so it releases all the components it hasn't been able to absorb and uses up all the nutrients it has stored in the leaves.😜
