Seeds were dropped in water, taproot was out in 24 hours, so they went into plugs in a heated dome and sprouted 2 days later. The sprouts grew their first set of leaves 4 days after breaking soil and look perfect so far.
Day 1 of vegetation (day 15 since germination). Plants are looking great so far. The first set of leaves have a slight twist to them, probably from a slight over watering, but they seem pretty happy so far.
Day 8 of vegetation (day 22 since germination). Plants are doing well and are thriving. I'm thinking these will be ready to transplant into 1.5gal pots by the end of the week so I have those pots filled and watered them with compost tea to get things going ahead of time.
Day 16 of vegetation (day 30 since germination). The plants were up potted to 1.5 gallon pots the other day and seemed a little sensitive to the transplant. They seemed to slow down growth for a day and then came right back. The root balls were dusted with mykos before transplant and the pots were saturated with water and compost tea that was brewed for 24 hours.
Day 22 of vegetation (day 36 since germination). The plants are looking wonderful and are just chugging along. They will get their first topping either later today or tomorrow morning. Each plant was fed 0.5L of compost tea, today, that was brewed for 48 hours.
Day 29 of vegetation (day 43 since germination). The plants were topped on Saturday and transplanted into their final 10gal pots on Wednesday. Each plant was fed 0.5L of compost tea, today, that was brewed for 24 hours.
Day 36 of vegetation (day 50 since germination). They plants are doing great, and staggered node growth has started, so I will flip them to flower soon. The plants were pinned down multiple times over the past week, and they have a lot of nice shoots coming off each of the 4 main branches, so I'm going to just continue pinning them down until I flip them into flower. I don't see any reason to top them an additional time and would like to see if this change in my method will help keep them shorter during the stretch into flower. Each plant was to dressed with 1/4 cup of 3-10-3 flower fertilizer, 7-2-3 vegetation fertilizer, and fed 0.5L of compost tea today which was brewed for 24 hours.
Day 6 of flower (day 57 since germination). They plants are still doing great so I flipped them to flower last Sunday. The plants were pinned down multiple times over the past week to keep them bushing out. This morning I lollipopped each plant, removed all stakes, and tied the branches down to the pots with Velcro ties. Each plant was and fed 1L of compost tea today which was brewed for 24 hours.
Day 13 of flower (day 64 since germination). The plants had a nice burst of growth over the last week and have looked very happy. The flowers are coming in nicely and everything is going as expected. Each plant was and fed 1L of compost tea today which was brewed for 48 hours.
Day 20 of flower (day 71 since germination). The flowers are still coming in nicely and everything is going as expected. Each plant was and fed 1L of compost tea on Wednesday night which was brewed for 24 hours.
Day 27 of flower (day 78 since germination). Lots of flower growth over the last week and the trichomes are coming in thick on the calyx and sugar leaves. I can tell these girls are going to be very frosty! The smell of these plants is getting there, but it's coming out slowly, and I can mostly smell citrus at this point. Each plant was and fed 1.5L of compost tea yesterday which was brewed for 24 hours.
Day 34 of flower (day 85 since germination). The stretch has completed and the plants are doing well. I did have one issue over the last week where the Blumat drippers for two of the plants were clogged. One wasn't so bad, but the other had a complete blockage that caused one plant to not get any water, for at least a day or two, which caused that plant (back plant) to lose some leaves and some of the other leaves have yellowed. As a precaution, I cleaned all of the drippers throughout the whole tent, and I will get into the habit of making sure they aren't clogged every weekend to prevent this from happening again. Each plant was and fed 1L of compost tea yesterday which was brewed for 24 hours.
Day 41 of flower (day 92 since germination). The back plant ran out of water again but not due to clogged drippers this time...I just didn't adjust the Blumat carrot correctly after cleaning out the drippers last week. That plant is suffering a bit, but the leaves have perked back up. There are just a lot o yellow in the leaves currently, so I'm hoping she gets some new leaves thrown out this week to help offset this setback. The front plant looks much better. Each plant was given a top dressing of flower fertilizer and fed 1L of compost tea yesterday which was brewed for 24 hours.
Day 48 of flower (day 99 since germination). The back plant that went through a couple of watering issues seems to have handled that pretty well. It still has some yellow leaves but the buds have continued to ripen and swell. Had to stake the branches more today to support the colas. Each plant was given a top dressing of flower fertilizer and fed 1L of compost tea today which was brewed for 24 hours.
Day 56 of flower (day 107 since germination). The buds on these plants are frosting up and tightening up nicely! The breeder estimate for harvest starts today, and ends in 1 week, and I think that lines up very well with how the plants look. Each plant was given1L of compost tea, yesterday, which was brewed for 24 hours.
I'm very happy with how these came out. They finished right in the breeders estimated flowering time and they smell great. The back plant came out smaller, as expected, due to the watering issues I had, but it still came out very nice.
Update 6/20: Just finished trimming the plants and they are now going into a curing bucket. Total dry weight is 210g and the bud smells really nice!
