So this is 8 days after sprouting - now 3” tall and the second pair of proper leaves is starting to develop - still just misting it regularly and watering it lightly (100ml) every 48 hours. Looked a bit droopy in these pics but has perked up nicely this aft.... .... thoughts now turning to when to start nutes and how long before starting LST....??? Look

You can obviously grow cannabis in natural sunlight.. but to optimize yields you want as much control over the environment as possible, air flow, light cycles, humidity, etc. I’m assuming you’re growing inside because it’s too cold to grow outside, which likely also mean you have limited daylight hours. If you were to run an auto on a 12 hr light cycle you’d get dramatically lower yields than 16/8. If it’s warm enough and the sun is up enough hours of the day, the best place to grow would be outside. The humidity in your house is also likely lower than optimal 30-40% rather than ~60% so you’ll get less vigorous vegetative growth.

hey there, i have to disagree with everyone here. you dont need more than 50ml twice a day or once a day sometimes. right now the seedling doesnt have big roots so anyway if you water the pot it doesnt touch the plant. just slowly water. Spray up to six times a day with plain water to keep up the humidity ... at this stage it should be close to 70% . Anyway after the seedling stage you adjust your watering, keep spraying until the fourth set of leafs. It's all about getting the right Vapour pressure deficit and following a strict wet dry cycle. Hope this helps ! 🚀

Day 13 and comparing with other Quick One diaries on here, I'm a bit worried about progress. Am now watering 0.5l every day and using Biobizz grow.... has grown a fair bit in last few days but seems well behind other peoples posts.... any views/advice welcome.

Don't compare your grow to anybody elses, ever! There are too many factors involved with growing that can influence growth rates, and the genetics of YOUR seed, in YOUR set up and with YOUR techniques will always be different to every other single Quick One ever grown or will be grown. Each and every seed is an unique individual organic being and no two "Quick Ones" will ever be identical. Besides, is week 2 eight days or 14 days?? Watering every day is not necessary, water only once the top inch or so is dry, too much water at an early age can cause a soggy substrate that then prevents good oxygen exchange between the limited roots and the air, which can slow growth. Hope this helps,......... Organoman.

Are the small hairs/bumps on the fan leaves near bud sites to be expected?

Hi mate, Nothing to worry about there, just some trichomes coming to say hello. They will appear all over the plant in full flower. You can make cannabutter, hash or resin from the trim so every bit counts. I hope this helps, good luck and happy growing.

Hey all, first grow seems to be going ok, despite me being clueless! Now at 8 weeks and 2 days and wondering how long I’ve got left? RQS say 9-10 weeks total. Still a bit to go - only a few hairs turning brown but would really value input on when to stop nutes? Thanks

End of week 13 …. Not sure what’s going on here - now been flowering for way too long, most fan leaves are dead, pistils all brown but trichromes are not turning milky. Sugar leaves on main cola look to be browning too..

Hi mate, not entirely sure but this really looks like a nutrient lockout. Mostly old growth has gone and new growth is starting. That is probably the reason she is not maturing. Although, you don't mention the kind of light you are using so you may need a more powerful light to get the results you want. I would check your pH and EC levels of the soil and adjust as needed. I hope this hekos, good luck and happy growing

Check your soil, if you have good soil don't use any nutrients or supplements, it only makes it more complicated the first time, just keep your PH of your water in check, only water when the soil is dried up, feel with finger 2-3cm deep, Lst start when she's about 18cm with bending main stem horizontal, mainly during week 3-5, keep it simple, get to know your plant

Saludos. Usa algún fertilizante? ??. Buen trabajo 👍

I'd say probably another 3 weeks maybe more before harvest, I would stop feeding and just give her plain 6.5 pH water for the next couple of weeks as a lot of nutrients build up in the soil.
