We ended off last week with a topping at the 4th node for all 3 plants. We also decarboxylated some fan leaves to add to some butter that I made this week.
I waited until about half-way through the week before starting to tie them down, to make sure that some of the branches had stretched out a bit. I also snipped off some of the larger fan leaves to help light get to the lower branches. All 3 plants seems to be keeping a steady pace with themselves, keeping their size in relativity to each other. Now begins the process of filling the pot out to the edges before we get these girls to flower!
I went to check the mother plant at the beginning of the week, and it looks like I did end up stressing her a bit too much. There were a few pollen sacs starting to form at the internodes where the flowers were starting to form. I'll definitely take this into consideration when I take these girls to flower. I'm not concerned for these ones, as the cuts were taken well before flowering/stress was induced. I'll keep an eye on the mother plant and be sure to clean up before I send these girls to flower to avoid any fertilization.
Canna-butter: Turned out awesome, but took such a long time. I'll definitely be making more, but I'll make sure it's a large amount at a time on the next run lol.
