Update: 2021-03-07, Doing well, havent dried out the rockwool yet...lol She is trucking along nicely. Im glad the bennies arent bothering her fragile roots which have yet to be seen. Using a product called "Sludge Remover" from Total Pond found on Amazon. Its basically really strong "Hydroguard",with just natural beneficial bacteria for a quarter of the price! Gave a super lite feeding and going to gradually increase over the next week. She just popped up this morning. Gorilla is picking up speed, she took a while longer to get going. I started her in 1.5 inch rockwool cube and hand watering the cube now situated just above the bubbles in the 3.5 gal DWC bucket. Hope I dont let her die from drying out, I'm going to have to keep checking on her until shes got some roots! I still got a hermie of the last grow so I decided to get new seeds and start over. Did a major overhall of my grow room with a new wall and light proof doors and new LED grow light (SF-1000d). No more light leaks or glowing bulbs in the dark period... period. Another week has past, she's doing well. Not much to talk about, just trucking along. This new light seems to be doing good and my cat aproves of it as well. That light really bright, and only at 100watts! See you next week...

Update: 2021-03-22 I had some slime from the floralicious plus and florabend! Going to stop using them for DWC, they are too much for it I guess. Cleaned roots off and just topped up without. So another week has passed. She is doing well, grown a lot since last week. No real problems just moving forwards, I have increased its feed a bit. Going for the Lucas method this time just for shits and giggles. Hope to see you next week!

Update: 2021-03-26. Everything going smoothly. This strain can take a beating, eats like crazy and just grows without issues. I love the huge wide leaves and the side branching is great! Just going to veg her untill I can take some clones closer to flip. I have never had such white roots with other products, this Total Pond Sludge Remover bacteria rocks, as long as there isnt any organic material present. I assume even with goop in the bucket would be ok as that would be good bacteria?! Not too sure how it works. Without the organic stuff the roots stay nice and white and no goop. Another week has passed and she is growing. I transfered to my new system RDWC, with a water level sensor. The water level sensor makes the system shut down so pump never runs dry. Update: 2021-04-03, Just a follow up... She got topped and the clones where made. Going to flip asap so she doesn't get too tall. I read somewhere that this strain can stretch a lot but man she is a beast. Hoping she will produce a decent harvest!? Thanks. Hello again, Another week has passed and she is doing well. Just tied her down a bit so it doesn't get too tall for my grow space. Not sure what the stretch is going to be like? No issues so far, just waiting to be able to take cuttings for clones. I have to include the "Total Pond - Sludge Remover" again. That stuff really is working and its way cheaper than Hydroguard making a total of 960 gallons per 16 oz bottle. The colour of the stuff is beige not clear, so dont worry about that, and the ingredients are simply: "Deionized water, selected heterotrophic bacterial strains"! I bought it from Amazon.ca for anyone thinking of trying it out. I wouldn't recommend using any organic nutrients or additives, when I did I got some slime. If you stick to just regular synthetic nutrients, the roots stay super white and healthy. Thanks for stopping by!

This week I did some more pruning. Trying to make sure it doesn't get too tall by the end of stretch. Just started 12/12 light schedule the other day. Not much else happening.... stay tuned.

Finished week one of flower and she is starting the stretch. Just having issues with the original clones taken, they havent even started rooting yet! Took a few newer clones off her from lower on the plant, hoping for some success.

Update: 2021-04-23. Just a follow up... she keeps stretching and I am begining to worry about how tall its going to get. Ordered yet again different seeds, called LSD Feminized from Barney's Farm. I have heard nothing but good from this breeder and got a good deal on the seeds. I am just searching trial and error to find a strain that suites me best. It needs to grow short!!! I need it to be potent, I'm a heavy cannabis smoker and not stretch like crazy? I wish it was easier trying to find this strain. From the descriptions you read they arent always very helpful in choosing the perfect candidate. I do try and do my homework on here about these different strains, hopefully this new one won't be so wild growing as this Gorilla. I guess that it was self explanatory, but the description for it gave me the impression that it was what I was looking for originally. Oh well I will take this one as a learning experience, so far no problems after fixing light leaks and getting a new light for flower. Hello all! Again a week has past, she is doing well. Really stretched a good amount! I wasn't expecting such a increase in growth but we are still not touching the lights... thank god! I did manage to get a clone from those second cuttings. I suppose it does matter where and how early you try and take clones from a plant. This second clone rooted well, just gave it a bit of food today. Gorilla seems completely fine using the modified Lucas Method, interesting how she grows perfect without having to use any of the "Gro" base nutrients - whats so ever! Thanks for stopping by.

Hey all, another week has passed, Im completely out of room. She is doing well but needs to stop growing upwards. It must be all done now? I guess we will see if I need to top some of those buds not to sure whats going to happen. Other than the height issue the Gorilla is doing just fine, I check it daily for any signs of hermie. I believe we have fixed the stress from light leaks and shitty glowing bulbs. No more pollen sacks yeah!!! See you in a week.

Hey all, another week to add. She has been very easy to grow and is getting fatter everyday. Very pleased with this strain, just wish it wasn't so big at stretch or I would perpetual this one. Just planted some new seeds called "Pink Lemonade" from the government 34th Street Co. I never got that LSD from Barney's farm to germinate, first time in a long time thats happened. Oh well ended up with a good set of seeds for a decent price, but now I'm growing completely legally. Makes you feel all nice and comfy knowing I'm not going back to jail for something as silly as a plant. Take care everyone!

Update: 2021-05-14, Just a recap... cut, dried and smoked that bud that had got damaged. It tasted great and gave me a good buzz, if it had finished ripening then this bud will be great! So a little stress from the lights starting to notice on the closest leaves. I expected some type of reaction from being too close, glad it hasn't been so bad. I did manage to bend a branch over trying to support some of her heavy buds. Kinda lanky and not strong enough stocks to hold her own weight. Not going to touch her anymore so we can make it to finish. She is getting there but its only been 6 weeks of flower, expecting another 2 weeks until the stated time period for flower?!

Week has passed again, just trying to make it to finish. The buds are super frosty and swelling up nicely. Branches are bending with those big buds, stems are too thin. Well see you next time!
