Brewed a Vermicast/EMO aerated compost tea, added that through netpots, Seems to be keeping water clear and no slime, plants growth seem to be enjoying it, there is new white roots as well, the older roots are a bit brown, not sure if it root rot or if its stained from the tea, they still seem quite sterdy.
Update. 6 days later and i've decided i should probably start the flower, the plant has shot through the scrog net and having to try weave them as they get long enough problem is with the honey cream the stems are very thick and worry about them breaking. ive flushed the plant and now change the res out. the plant is growing quite nicely those Effective Micro-organisms seem to be helping since i added and keeping the water clean. and i have been adjusting the timer down to 12-12 over the last few days. and should start my flowering in a day or 2. ive added more 3000k leds this week to help spectrum change.
The plant have become very bushy and has very thick watery stems, impossible to bend through the scrog netting without snappng, I've had to pinch a few stems to try bend tops more lower for stretching.
Have Made drip ring and feeder pipes bigger for the bennies, added some small red led's, pinched a couple stems to make some more space for light.
Day 17 - added about 700ml of EWC tea brewed with E.M, Vermigro , and mycoroot through the net pot.
Day 20 - Raised lights a little and tucked some leaves move another cola and tied it towards more open space.
Day 22 Flowering - Flsuhed Plant during the night, Bend some branches to create more light through, tucked some fan leaves.
Day 23 - Added about 800ml of tea (E.W.C+E.M.+MycoRoot+LiquidSiliconPlus) through each net pot
Day 24 - Raised Lights, noticing bottom leaves starting to die off already
I do feel i let this grow get way out of hand for the space and light available.
Day 29 - Added another 20L to res at half strength nutes. Did quite a bit of defoliation as there was not much light getting to the lower buds. This plants have been stretching like crazy so have had to cable tie a few down
Day 30 - Added 400ml of Tea ( 5L water, 2 cups E.W.C , 1 tsp Mycoroot supreme, 50ml E.M. , 10ml Liquid Silicon+ )
Day 31 - Supercropped the stems so get more space in the cab and light closer to all the bud sites. One of the branches did split, taped it up will see if it survives.
Day 32 - Added a cup of tea to each net pot
Day 35 - Added a Cup of Tea to each net pot
Im Worried about the space and the stretch of plant. it seems the only the tops are frosting and bulking. Should just carry on as it is, or should i try tie down the cola's more horizontally and defoliate to try get more to even canopy and get lights closer to the lower bud sites
Bending can be risky, I would supercrop the taller tops instead.
Also you'll have to harvest in waves, first the top most buds, then give the middle ones time to bulk a bit, and so on.
Day 36 - Changed out Res and nutes, Hoping this week the buds start building some weight
Day 37 - Added 1 cup of tea through net pot.
Day 38 - clipped main colas to try start backbuilding buds and see if it helps
Day 39 - Raised lights about another 5cm, wasnt sure if they were a bit to close, was loving some coverage. Im starting to think they quite a bit behind for fast flowering, not sure if there are any issues anyone could be picking up on, any help would be great
Day 43 Flowering - Changed res out with fresh water and nutes.
Day 44 Flowering - Added 1 cup of tea through each net pot. Added another 0.3ml/L of bloom as nutes had dropped 100ppm over night
Day 46 Flowering - Added 1 Cup tea thorugh each plants net pots. Ph was dropping so the tea helped bring it back a bit.
Day 49 Flowering - Added 1 Cup tea thorugh each plants net pots.
Wow so what a week, My Grow cupboard almost broke and pulled away from the wall about 5cm, I Had to take the plants out the scrog as the scrog then damaged some branches. The it was out the cupboard for 2 days. i managed to repair the cupboard slightly but still have light leaks. The plant still seems ok for now even with a little bit of light leak. I'll have to look at a different setup once this is finished.
Day 57 - Changed nutes and water
