make a hole at the bottom of the can and put it in a bucket so the roots have space, it's all about the roots in your grow, if you dont manage them dilligently the plant will become root-bound and it may wilt and die. another way to fix the roots is to use a lot of chelation agent / additive : try humic and fluvic acid . Folgers coffee cans work well, the large plastic red ones. Organoman is right, and I'm sure you're aware the root system will be small as a result of your small container. I would say just hit a few supermarkets and stroll down the coffee aisle looking at containers to see what would suit you best. There are training techniques to help with your yield despite the small root system you'll have so I'm sure you'll have a nice harvest small can or not.

Top it at 4-6 nodes and flower early would be my suggestion. But, for what reason - miniature plants ?? Don't expect much yield, a plant can only grow as big as the root system can support it and in a coffee can, that is one small area for a root system. another thing you can do bro, to save a lot of cash , is to have this one in a big pot, keep it in veg as a mother, then harvest the plant for clones. clones go into tiny pots , from one plant you could get like 50 clones or more in root cubes, then move them to 2/3 gallon pots as needed for a perpetual harvest schedule .... small pots means strength in numbers, if you have just one seed, grow it out for a long time in veg (more than 2 months, 3 is better) then flower it and harvest more than 500 gs .... it's all about strategy and thinking things through to maximize your yield. Hi there, I had been grown like you do.I made 3 stacks of 1gallon plastic pot.I didn’t want to transplant.So I cut the bottom and made stacks.You know what happened.It fell down accidentally because of too much weight on top.So I don’t want to recommend.Transplanting is much way better.Happy Growing... ✌️
