Germination started on march 8th. All nutrients added into soil prior to planting. I picked 10 seeds, with different characteristics (large/small, dark/light, veiny/plain) for my first ever phenotype hunt, planning to grow all 10 seeds, so long as they are willing to grow! Germ started March 8.
FS# 1-2 planted March 9.
FS# 3-5 planted March 10.
FS# 6-8 planted March 11.
2/8 of the seedlings look like they aren't going to make it, but we will give them a chance at least. March 13.
FS# 1,2,5,7 doing the best. FS#3 is very stunted, I am giving it til tomorrow, and if it doesn't look better, I am pulling the plug. FS#4 was stuck in it's shell until last night, and now it is finally starting to open up. all in all, everything is going well. March 16
All plants growing well, took FS#3 aside, but still letting her go. If it begins growing again, I will resume posting photos of it. March 20
After closer inspection, FS#1 has 5 total cotyledons, where as I thought there were 4! (not sure if that means anything, but still is a pretty neat sight. FS#3 came back to life, and is now working on it's first set of leaves. Maybe its a strong pheno if it can withstand it's root accidentally growing up out of the soil and drying up (will resume picture posts of it!). I added a sprinkle of oyster shell flour, worm castings, and mineralized phosphate to each pot when I watered today, and I am looking to transplant in about another week (maybe less if they keep it up!) I have also decided to place my crew in from of the HPS flowering tent during the day (10000 lux) and back into the 2x2 during the night (8-9k), I am just wanting to give them a little extra red light! March 22
*** March 23
Nothing new to update, really, until I transplant. These girls (hopefully) are growing fast!! I've been seeing a difference every single day, and I am so proud of them. 🙌
*** March 26
Less than a week until transplant, roots aren't looking like they are filling the pots (I was told I was watering too often) so I have pledged to not water any more until I put them in their forever homes.
They seemed to have doubled in size again since just this morning, but I know they could be doing better ^^;
All in all, they are doing awesome!! I just need to stay away from them, and let them do their thing lol.
***March 29
T-3 days until transplant. I gave them a little watering today 30 minutes before lights off (4 hours). They are looking "Tomato"-y! 😍 it's interesting looking at some of the leaf structure, and noticing how the mutations look on each plant.
Watering with plain tap water, ph at 6.5, with only de chlorinator and SUPERthrive added to the water.
They are all working on their third set of leaves!
***March 31
Ended up transplanting later that night (29th), all but FS#3 is in new pots (FS#3 has almost no roots).
All plants (besides 3, obviously) are starting to show branches 👌
***April 2
They basically doubled in size since I transplanted them 😍 last update for week 3, see you in week 4!
***April 5
All plants growing side branches now! I'm expecting them to change drastically next week (once roots are developed again) and we will see some REAL growth😉all in all, things are looking good, gave them a splash of water yesterday, now waiting for the end of the week to see if they are dry. (maybe sooner who knows) I added Dynomyco to the roots when I transplanted, and we can already feel roots halfway down the pot (accidentally broke some when lifting the pot up). Can't wait to see the roots at the end of the cycle!!
***April 8
Massive growth in 3 days. Branches are starting to really fill in on FS#1, and FS#5 has some crazy-ass leaf mutations (very neat) GROW GROW GROW!!!
All heights for each plant;

Plants are looking fantastic, all are filling out, even FS#3 is trying it's hardest. I was so excited about the growth, I decided to update on the 1st day of week 5.
FS#1, FS#5, and FS#8 are my current favorites. (also would like to mention they grew 1 inch in the last 4 days.)
I was thinking whether I should try topping them (stress test) or if I should let them grow how they would on their own...(?)
***April 13
Ended up topping them all! (besides FS#3 for obvious reasons)
***April 16
Watering done today, added a sprinkle of mineralized phosphate to the top, and watered down in.
FS#1 Confirmed female (a little hard to tell but I am 95% sure)
FS#2 Confirmed male - DEAD. (root growth wasn't very impressive, hence why I decided to add the mineralized phosphate)
The rest of them are looking good, and I am hoping to be able to sex the rest of them at the end of this week/beginning of next week)
Experiencing a little bit of brown leaf edges on FS#7, will keep updated on how it is doing.
FS#3 is starting to do something!!
FS#4 is slow, but hopefully steady.
Going to be taking some leaves off, and get them to focus on inner branch growth. See you all next week! 👌

Was going to update a couple days ago, but got busy. They are really showing their true colors now. 💩 There is only one or two I'm especially fond of (FS#4 & FS#8), they just aren't growing as vagarous as the others.
Only 2 plants left to sex! so far 50/50 fem rate.
Topped them all last week, and they have been responding very well! I also trimmed some of the larger leaves off, to open the branches to more light (around the same time as topping).
FS#7 is still showing browning on the edges, and yellowing leaves. The rest are perfectly fine (although, this one in particular had a *tad* bit more worm castings in the pot, when I was running out of soil) So I am leaving it go, and waiting to see if it can get itself regulated, before I have to step in.
***April 25
Not much to report... They are slightly bigger than before, gave them some water this morning, They feel a little stunted (we think our soil is too rich, or not rich enough? still working out the kinks)
All in all, everyone is looking healthy, and no more burning is being shown

Hey everyone, this is looking like a productive week 😎 I took some leaves off, to open up some more branches to light, fixed all my tops (I'll explain below), got the watering done yesterday, and sexed as much as I could, I checked the roots on the side of the pot, and they are looking white and healthy! It's going to be a great week!
So..."fixed my tops", what had happened was, when I topped all of the plants previously, I guess I was too high up, and literally every single one had a stumpy-runt top growing out of the middle (where I tried to top). I ended up just ripping them all off (except for FS#8 because it wasn't very small).

Fed with 1tbs mineralized phosphate to each, and watered in (They were pretty dry this morning)... Also took the *extra long* branch on FS#1 off as a clone, and tied the lower branch over, to fill in the space the other branch left, now it should become more of an even canopy.
Roots are spread out across the whole top!
FS#4 is almost ready to sex, FS#7 looks like a male, but still too early to pull the plug, I will let it go a couple days and double check.
***April 29
Killed FS#7, it's a boy!

Gave a watering today, they're all growing nicely!~No males left, so now we are looking at which pheno have the best qualities, until I can flower them and test the bud.
OVERVIEW
FS#1 just wants to be flat, I guess... The tops haven't been wanting to grow up anymore, and it's now just the branches reaching up to the top level. (*I have a bottom branch growing for clone)
FS#4 is kind of average.
FS#5 comes in as a close second to FS#6, it has characteristics of FS#4's bushiness, FS#1's flatness, and FS#6's height.
FS#6 has the best potential, good height, branches are all growing evenly and well-spaced.
FS#8 definitely takes the bushiness award, the branches are growing with a vengeance.

Seem to be taking off now, they are ready to grab clones and put into flower in 4 weeks when our flower tent is empty, so until then, we get to watch as they grow to a size where I will be stressed out putting them all in the flower tent 😂😂
They are all greening up nice and dark rich green, so I think they appreciated the extra 444. I haven't had any signs of burn yet, so I will keep pushing them to see their limit.
FS#3 is growing wildly, it might even catch up in time to put in the flower tent with the rest of them!
This will be the last photo update this week, see you in week 9!~
*extra
Took at least 2 clones off each plant (4 off FS#6), and fed again with 2Tbs 2-8-4 and 1Tbs of alfalfa, watered in.

They all are growing really quickly! Only 2-ish more weeks to go til flower, and I'm super excited to start taking bud pictures. 😍
I'm going to do a little more defoliation on them, to allow for more airflow. Still wet from yesterday, so no need for water yet, which is a relief because they were drying every day for the last little bit.
FS#3 has also been transplanted into a 1 gallon (since a few days ago) and is loving it.
FS#5 is bushy as all hell on one side, and almost bare on the other, turned her around to face the light on the bare spot (lots of rotation going on with the limited space)

They all grew about 2 inches in the last 3 days, going very good! I expect them to grow a lot faster now, with the extra nutrients I added previously, and by the looks of them, I think I hit the sweet spot. I feel as if they are *just* about to burn... so, time to add MORE! (⊙︿⊙✿)
Adding 1tbs 444, and 0.5tbs mineralized phosphate. Let's go stress test!
***May 12
Took several branches off most plants that looked too bushy. They are all opened up with lots of air flow now. They aren't showing any sign of nutrient burn (yet).
FS#1 is basically football shaped at this point, and it's bothering me more than it should. FS#6 still on the top of my favorites list.
Gave a little bit of water on the surface.
***May 14
Branches on FS#1 are super lop-sided, so I basically LST'd the longer ones using the other freakshows to hide the much bigger branches, so the smaller ones can have a chance to grow.
They are picking up the speed super fast! and I recently just learned I have been watering wrong for organics, so now I should have better results in future diaries!

So- ...obviously I'm not feeding enough. I want these freaks to burn already 😡
Added another 2tbs 2-8-4, 1tbs alfalfa and mineralized phosphate, 1/2 tbs oyster shell flour, and a decent pinch of kelp. If this isn't too much, then I don't know what "too much" is anymore.
Took some fan leaves off, only 2-3 per plant, just the ones blocking the branches I'm trying to grow out.
They all look healthy, but they are still trying to draw nutrients out of their leaf stems (we use that as a sort-of natural way to let us know the plants are out of nutes) and I'm trying to do a stress test, but these girls are just way too hungry!!
Wish me luck on burning them... lmao, who even says that? 😂😅

A lot of growth this week! You can see they are really filling out the tent!
I have been watering 5% of the pot size in water every day, give or take, depending on how they feel, and it's working amazing. I finally have a groove going, where my soil can actually breathe 😎

Can't believe we're already in week 11!
I did some more lollipopping, and twisted a few of the larger branches til I heard a crack, so they will give the branches on the opposite side a chance (the tent is over crowded).
Everything is looking amazing, and they are filling out like crazy. Might not be able to flower right away, or else they wont go in all at the same time like I want, so I'm trying to wait for enough space in the 4x4 for the 5 to fit.
FS#3 was male, and killed. Interesting root structure from when it was almost killed as a seedling 😅

Growing very fast, getting past the other more mature plants that live in the tent. 💪
***May 29
Have a rooted FS#1 clone now. I can't get over how much these girls are bushing out! 😍 Still no nutrient problems, this is definitely a beginner strain; leaves give light penetration, will eat unlimited nutrients, no worries about airflow... I hope it lives up to the excitement during flower.
***May 31
First week of flower!! WOO!
Had to downsize the grow, having some issues with money, so had to make a sacrifice (sad, but such is life.) I kept only my 2 favorites; FS#1 and FS#6.
They are now in the flower 4x4 under a 1000w HPS bulb. Going to do a heavy feeding once I pick up some more gaia green.
***June 6
FS#1 turned out to be a boy... don't know how I missed that, but oh well... Phenohunt down from 10>8>5>2>1 😓 It's a good thing 6 was my favorite out of them.
Stretch is happening, FS#6 has been growing about an inch a day.
***June 8
Stretch!!!
Took 2 branches off the bottom for clones, buds are starting to form! no sign of trichomes yet, but keeping a loot out! This plant is suppose to have a 9+ week flowering time, so I don't expect to see much this early. Not really sure if I am truly liking this strain, but I will let the buds speak for themselves.
***June 10
...This is so sad... I was looking closer at my FS#6, and was wondering why there were only a few pistols and it felt like it was taking a while (almost 3 weeks into flower and not really doing much) it turns out it's a HERM. now I have NO freakshow left, besides my clones of the 3 I had sold for space, which I would love to make a diary about once I determine the sex is 100% female (they should be, I sexed with a second opinion, and they were girls)
I'll mark this diary as a "to be continued". This really has been such a bust for me...I was really looking forward for that plant's flowers... 😭 and I can't even get a diary all the way through to the end.
Thank you all for your support, and I hope to see some of you following along with some of my other diaries (RHC, Raptors OG) and eventually, will have a finisher for my freakshow diary in a few weeks. 💩
