Was going to do Night Owl’s Mango Sunrise but I stumbled upon these girls and I couldn’t resist an auto Durban. 🤤 One has popped but I didn’t want to take the chance of starting the diary when the 2nd on popped. Did not feel like updating three diaries on Wednesday. This Migro was a beast the last grow. The Octopots a huge addiction. I keep wanting to maybe switch to another hydro system to try but man I don’t want the pumps. The shear efficiency of the sub irrigation is magical. Never draining and the only waste is the water I spill. I sincerely recommend anyone wanting to transition to hydro or soil to try this first. The only thing I would prefer at this point is a fucking outdoor plot with some suped up soil and the motherfucking power of the SUN! 🤩 I would actually even toss one of these girls in an Octopot outside shit fuck it hahaha. Let’s get these Durban girls going
First week down. Looking forward to seeing what these girls can do. Once the second set of true leaves appear I’ll start foliar feeding. Not having to worry about height this time will let me hopefully stay on top of defoliation hahaha.
Not much to update. Everything is moving along nicely. First several weeks is always easy while the roots start to fill the gro sleeve and migrate towards the hydro reservoir. Waiting for the right plant to get second set of fan leaves and then will start to foliar feed. All good so far
Foliar feeding has begun. Good week so far. Fuckity growth on the right one should be fine. Octopot System leans towards the hydro side so autos usually end up with several extra weeks anyways. Slow beginning but all good
Lefty was topped. Growth was substantial enough to go ahead and chop. Righty is starting to recover. All good for this week. Other tents will start harvesting soon so hopefully get some more clips to bend the plant without having to order haha. Looking forward to the coming weeks.
Plants are really starting to veg now. Water uptake has finally gone up. Plant on the right is bouncing back from stress. Plant on the left is thriving after being topped and trained. Not much to report. Seeds addiction strikes again. Picked up some Gas Reaper genetics since last time I missed out on his drop. He also has some new autos this time so pretty pumped. There are just so many autoflower breeders now. I’m at the point where I want to test a vast number just to see what results I get are consistent. This Durban auto is on par so far with a lot of the others. Hopefully, we can see some sick buggies with this strain
A lot of defoliation on lower branches and branches that could push into the other plant. The Karmic Connection that was stout needed up being underdeveloped and airy because the taller one overtook it. Very interesting. So main goal is to try to keep them from bushing out into each other.
Good week of growth. Buds developing nicely. Structure of the plants is ideal especially the left one. There also appears to be purple hues coming in on the left one. Right one received a lot less plant training because of the staggered growth but she seems to be putting some size on her nuggies. After these girls finish up I’ll be running some SweetSeeds in here under the Migro.I give it about 4 more weeks hopefully haha but who knows.
Slowly getting towards the end. Hoping for 3 or 4 weeks left. The girl on the right is still sickly. Leaves have some brown spots but buds are still fattening. Left is doing great. Color and frost coming along with the buds. Tallest cola has some light stress, fucking Migro is a beast.
