Random seed out of a 10 pack from WeedSeedsOnline. Strain is unknown, but seed was ridiculously big in comparison to any I have ever seen before. All nutrients added into soil prior to planting. Germ started on March 8th, planted March 10th. Everything going smoothly, growing just fine! March 13.

*** March 23 Growing really strong! I haven't been on top of this diary as my phenohunt at the moment, but they are doing great! The stem seems to be crazy purple in comparison to anything I've seen before 😯 March 23

*** March 26 This seed has turned into something I have never seen in my life, just look at the color!~ I know, as an artist, I probably find more enjoyment out of this than most, but the way the deep purple of the stem changes into such a lush, vibrant green (pictures DO NOT do this justice!!) it's almost like looking at aurora lights, but as a plant. Just beautiful. Transplant next week along with my freakshow phenohunt, then it's time to really get growing

*** April 1 Haven't looked at big Bertha in a while, looked down, and WHAO has there ever been a difference... I could barely even recognize it hahaha. Needing a transplant soon. We are making some room in the grow tent tomorrow (flipping the God's candyland and pink tsunami) then this gal(?) Will have a new pot to thrive in!

***April 5 SHE NEEDS A TRANSPLANT SO BAD. I feel bad because this could have been so much bigger by now, but waiting on pearlite (should be here in a couple days), but once it's transplanted, at least we get to watch an explosion of growth 😅 Roots are looking nice, not as fine as i was hoping to expect, but give it a week lmao. She's looking good! and I REALLY hope that "she" IS a she. I am loving everything about this plant, and even if it turns out to be a male, I don't know if I'll have it in my heart to kill it (guess I'll be collecting pollen for my freakshows at that point??? 😁😂) I'll try to get another update ion before the next week, once I transplant! ***April 8 So, it turns out tri-nodes aren't enough for Big Bertha, so why not made it quad-nodes? I was checking out the plant, to see if the tri-node pattern would continue, but under a closer inspection, the tri-nodes DID continue, with a not-as-developed 4th branch node along with it! (what's next? 5?) This plant keeps surprising me, very exciting. 😎

***April 12 Transplanted today, Dynomyco added to the roots, hoping to see some good growth! She's(?) sticking with the quad-node pattern, and it's too early to tell, but I think I am seeing tri-node branches starting (will have to wait and see) ***April 15 I was looking in the tent, and noticed an ashy-looking substance on the top of Big Bertha, took her(?) out, and she's TOPPED! It literally topped itself...this plant has a mind of its own!! 👽 Quad-branch-self-topping genetics say what?

***April 21 All the pictures were taken on the 19th (I was going to update but I got busy) I took every other set of leaves off (kind of to look like a normal weed plant) so it can get more air-flow...because 'twas dense lol She(?)'s having some uptake issues, but I think it may just be my soil being too rich, give it some time and we will see... Top is looking good, no issues there, but I'm trying to get it to stretch out a bit so it can get light into it's branches. 😶 Reminds me of a beach umbrella. ***April 25 Branches are starting to fill in, I took all the bottom leaves off that were showing browning/yellowing. She looks a little hungry, but I fed her 2 days ago, and things are looking up!

***April 26 Starting this week off early! Took some leaves off, in hopes the branches will start shooting out. All in all, looking really healthy (besides the burnt tips) ...still trying to decide if it's too much feeding or not enough, but the new growth looks fantastic so I'm not too worried about it. Gave 1tbs mineralized phosphate. ***April 28 Took all the fan leaves off yesterday, in hopes to grow the branches out (they weren't really getting light with quad node fan leaves covering it up like a giant umbrella lol). ***April 30 Not much to report, tops are growing in, I tucked some leaves down on the top to reveal more light, and removed the bottom most set of branches. ***May 2 Fed with 2tbs 444, and 1.5tsp phosphate and alfalfa

***May 4 No height, but the branches are starting to bush out! Hoping to see more growth soon... It's becoming quite the experiment 😂 hope its a GIRL! Soon time to sex. ***May 7 Took off all the branches except the top 2 nodes (tri-branch, and then quad-top is all that remains). She's looking a little sick.. The leaves are like, rippley, a little lighter green and just doesn't look like she's growing much. She's SOAKED so I have to let her dry before I diagnose any issues. 😰 Not much to report this week, I'll try to do more updates next week, I have just been putting more love into my freakshow phenohunt diary... 😅💀 ***May 9 Watered~

Grow Questions

This plant has not been growing as fast as I expected, she started with 3 branch nodes, switched to 4 branch nodes, then topped herself, now I have taken all of the bottom sucker branches off. she IS a little soaked, so maybe its over watering? but what do the ripples mean?

It maybe overwatering yeah but usually the leaves will droop if thats the case I would say abit of heat stress would prob be my best guess but it could also be a reaction to you defoliation. Im pretty sure its not going to cause you much problems I think she will power through and be fine :) best of luck

***May 10 A little more pruning on the top. it's starting to take shape now a little bit, I'm just trying to keep all the tops uncovered. ***May 11 Feel like the branches are growing out now, thank goodness 😂 I can't blame it though, after all the abuse I just put it through in the last few weeks, its allowed to take a break 😅 If you're wondering why the height went from 7.5 to 6.5, it's because I put more soil on top 😂 She's probably around 8.5 now if it weren't for the soil added. ***May 12 Spun her around so the smaller side can get some light on it. She's growing great! Actually starting to see some development now. I also broke the soil up a bit around the bottom of the pot, so the soil can dry out a little faster, I think it's been too wet and having some problems uptaking nutrients ***May 14 Starting to dry out nicely now. ***May 16 Fed today with 2tbs 2-8-4, 1tbs alfalfa and mineralized phosphate, 1/2 tbs oyster shell flour, and a decent pinch of kelp. I removed the 4th top from my "Quad-node" so it's back down to a tri-node plant. The 3 tops are way ahead of the last top, so I don't want the plant to waste it's time just because I want an extra top. You can see the size difference in the image posted. ***May 17 😞 not going to delete the diary, but wont be continuing with it any longer. Pretty cool watching how it grew, but it definitely was stunted to a point of not being worth the time anyway. We need more space in the tent, and this plant hasn't been giving me much hope. Could have better use of the soil and nutrients 😅 I want to focus my energy on GOOD genetics, ones that I know the strain and the breeder (not just a random seed) The diary was pretty fun for a first time, and hope although it's not finished and flowered, people can get some insight!

Looking good chica. U got the right idea with transplanting. I qould go to a 3 gallon at least the biggest a 5 gallon if ur doinh hydro drain to waste. If ur in soil with amendmwnts go big 10 gallon 20 gallon the soil js the battery. The bigger the battery the longer it last!! Good luck and keep in touch growmie
