All 3 have risen above the soil wearing their shells 😅 Gonna give them a few days to figure it out themselves before giving some help if needed 😪 Sorry for pictures, had no other light source at photo time. UPDATE: 2 have lost their shells fully! (both needed a lil poke to help 😑) last one is nearly free! pics soon! 1 and 3 and doing well, 2 is missing a leaf :(

Grow Questions

Just wondering how cold is tooooo cold? My inside tent sometimes gets as low as 12c with the lights on, and outside (have other plants out there) it's even colder (4c), so like, can the plants cope with such low temps on a consistent basis?

Hey there hillside. The metabolism of the plant is regulated by VPD which is the relationship between temperature and humidity . That means that if this ratio is way off the metabolism of the plant will come to a screeching halt. That’s sometimes okay for plants of a certain age, especially if it doesn’t last much longer than a day or two. At a young age plants will deal with it much worse. Any freezing temperatures will kill off a seedling pretty quickly, cold temperature will slow it down , potentially stunting its long term growth also. There’s a bunch that you can do , for example indoors just add a space heater , outdoors you can add insulation to the ground or the pots using cloth , like wrap a few sheets or t shirts around it , maybe use a plastic cover on the ground to raise the temperature locally. Either that or build a green house. Unfortunately you can expect this not to be a pretty serious problem if it’s long term. Hope this helps ! 🚀

One of my seedlings has lost one of its leaves and the other is not opening out, will she recover? Tried flattening her out so the green was to the light but she doesn't seem to want that, keeps going straight up again :(

Dont worry growmie, that's actually not a problem, or it's so minor of a problem it wont matter. however what i see is that the seedlings are stretching, this leads to what you're seeing (stress, stretch) . This is what you should do : lower your light to 50 or so cm , then lower it slightly a bit every day or so until you're satisfied. It might look a bit too close, but often times you're around 40cm away from the plant ! then you want to basically fill the last few cm of the pot with your medium , that' so the seedlings are supported better and compensate for the stretch a bit. Hope this helps ! 🚀

Life got in the way of my photoshooting dreams haha All 3 were FIM'd at some point and have all responded really well. SP1 is growing way taller than the others for some reason, think maybe the FIM'ing/Topping wasn't perfect, but its side sites are growing tall as well so 👍 Pinned them all down best I could, separating leaves to let as much light thru as possible, not really sure what to do about defoliation but I think it'll need to be soon. The smell is the tent is amazing, tho thats not all these girls :) These pics are about a week old so will TRY do another update tomorrow as well :p

Been moving branches around every day so that all the bud sites are in the light. Going good, gonna be more like 10 weeks rather than 8-9 tho i think :( Been chopping mad leaves off to keep bud sites clear too, plants don't seem to mind :)

Idk whats going on anymore, 3 sits closer to the light and is taller but 3 is all like "oooo its too sunny" idfk lol switching to just water as of now :) very excited. Not sure if the red is an issue or a strain thing, as some of another strain in there is red on top too :(

Some seem to be dying faster than others but not doing much for it now, just gonna wait till harvest. I think thats about 1-1.5 weeks or so away :) started with only water now for these 3, very excited to try :D
