Here we have some Fastbuds testers, except technically not testers, since they've been released now!

FastBuds - Purple Punch Auto / FBT2103
I looked at some of the other diaries for this strain and made my choice to give this one a go next. Here's the FastBuds official blurb:
"This is a giant autoflower that reaches 150cm and produces massive yields of up to 600gr/m2, a modern Cali strain that offers what a top-quality Indica-dominant hybrid should; Nugs capped in resin with the density you would expect from Indica-dominant strains and that bag appeal that will surprise even the most experienced growers. Expect beautiful purple and magenta hues that come along with a sweet almost pastry-like taste and, thanks to the 24% THC, a very pleasant and potent effect that surprisingly starts as a motivating high and in no time relaxes you completely, taking a bit of the energetic edge off."
Let's hope for some of them purple hues! I'll definitely be training with some light LST to keep the vertical size down. Otherwise in the dark with this strain, so let's find out all about it.
>> EQUIPMENT <<
I keep things pretty Lo-Fi:
3 Gallon Felt pots
Bio-Bizz Light Mix
Bio-Bizz Grow
Bio-Bizz Bloom
Bio-Bizz Alg-A-Mic
Vitalink CalMag
Fecida CR600 125w LED
I grow in the Space Cupboard, a broom cupboard in my kitchen with the walls wrapped in survival blankets. It's small, but it's stealthy and convenient. I dialled in my light distance using a PAR meter on my phone and a IR thermometer to check Leaf Surface Temperature. I tend to let that stick around the 25C/77F mark once they hit flower.
>> GERMINATION TIMELINE <<
12/03 - Began germination by placing a seed between two cotton pads soaked in a little water, then placed between two plates and put on the floor of my grow space to keep them warm.
13/03 - Seed cracked nice and quickly, got her into the mud in the morning, just shy of 24 hours after placing it in the cotton wool pads.
15/03 - Popped the soil this morning, taking roughly 72 hours from seed to sprout. She's got a humidity dome for now, but thats just to help keep the moisture around so I don't have to keep misting. I'll remove it once the first set of true leaves pop out.
Germination success, grow is GO!
Looking good, I once had a plant that had fairly similar symptoms to this one however I believe mine was caused after a brief powdery mildew infection. The plant continued to have hard leaves but was still producing buds well. It's hard to tell sometimes and it could just be a weird random thing but I thought I'd let you know about my experience with similar symptoms.
Happy growing!
Peace ✌️
@UKPersonal420, It's weird when they do something like that isn't it, I guess it's all learning though! Appreciate you telling your experience, if nothing else it makes me feel slightly better haha! 👌
