Put seed in some coco coir in a solo cup (w/ drainage) on Monday, then gave it some PH’d water, since i happened to have some on hand. Root stims such as GH rapidstart also help a ton in this stage. Cheers
Growing with no issue, very vigorous and healthy lady. She’s taking the manifold prep like a champ, may go for 16 Colas in the end and 8 on the Widow. Cheers
Really good growth and taking the mainlining like a champ, honestly pretty excited at the results of this somewhat obscure strain. Probs 1-2 more weeks in veg
This week her main stem split clean in half! I’m not sure she even noticed, as she’s still growing just fine but my mistake was stretching too far too fast and doing so while the plant was on the dryer side. I’ll keep her going for one more week before flowering most likely, cheers
Upgraded my setup a bit this last week, wish i could veg a bit longer but oh well, switched to 12/12 this morning. She’s doing great, really hardy plant.
This girl is legitimately a beast, and will make for a hell of a stretch, which I welcome. and she’s already producing that weed stank. Been trying to tweak my climate for my new setup as of late, running a little hot so I’m at 75% light for now.
This girl is a monster, stretching wide and high to fill out my grow tent and starting to let off an odor of skunky terpenes. No problems to speak of, although I may be looking at an early harvest (after week 7), but we’ll see.
Pungent skunkiness greets me as I try to keep my tent cool through the summer heat. The Main Line formed a comfortable even canopy, and I defoliated and pruned a bit last week in order to get a solid understory
Flowers and trichomes are starting to emerge, signaling the mid-flower stage, and I think this gorilla will end up with eight impressive colas in no time. no problems this week besides major heat wave temps which the plants are going to have to deal with temporarily - this is my first summer grow
Candy-like terps starting to emerge in the tent as I start to see some bulking of the flowers. Had to flush last week due to salt buildup, but everything is going smoothly otherwise
The bulking continues. side buds starting to become more prominent, and seeing substantial reddening of hairs begin. i’ll now begin to lower the nutes in preparation for late flower and the flush
my tent got infested with spider mites, causing me to have to remove some of this girl’s lower buds, but so far all of her colas are doing great, and should hopefully be fine until harvest. nonetheless, the fact that i can’t spray neem this late means that i’ll be lowering nutes and most likely chopping after this week.
on the bright side, the colas are dense to the point of being top-heavy, and the room smells like a skunky cherry tootsie pop. might not be a perfect end product but will still be decent for my purposes.
After a subpar harvest due to late stage spider mites, i decided to just throw in the rest of my 5 pack and do a pheno test of the remaining four plants, grown in soil this time. I’m hoping to take clones in order to select and regrow the cream of the crop, but I’m waiting for the side branches to get a little longer until flowering starts kicking in. This is the second day after switching to 12/12
Didn’t get a chance to take cuttings, so I guess I won’t bother with getting a keeper for this strain, unfortunately. Should still be interesting to see the differences in growth and high between them.
Upping the dosage of nutes a bit, and did a touch of defoliation to allow for better light penetration. One of the plants is super tall and robust, while others are varying degrees smaller, but with equal or greater crystal formation.
Some good growth this week, still trying to contend with some leaf yellowing. Been going hard on the nitrogen each watering, so now i’ll additionally water them more frequently. Cheers
Adjusted the nutes a bit for entering the late flower stage, watering 3x/week and turning up the light intensity for max growth. Tip burn here and there, but overall promising growth. Cheers
These ladies are all showing some unique traits, and I look forward to experiencing the difference in their smoke. One has a bit of a lean to keep an eye on, but besides that, all is under control. The end is beginning to peak over the horizon, cheers.
Harvest is near, each of these four ladies looking delicious in their own way. Feeding with molasses only until harvest, looking forward to experiencing the differences between these phenos. Cheers
Givin at least a week until chop. One girl has some nice dark leaves, one’s staying green, and the back two are just damn huge and chunky. Definitely not the most stable of genetics as far as consistency, but I’m stoked to see the difference in smoke quality.
Out of four plants, two finished quickly but with less quality and quantity, while two took a bit longer but were overall more impressive. Day or Night, relaxing and dreamy high with a long duration of effect. The tinge of cbd nicely tempers the effect as well.
I imagine this strain could give you a ton of yield if grown to a larger size, and a good pheno will be an overall powerhouse of a strain. Didn’t enjoy having to redo the grow due to spider mites, but that’s just the way she goes. Cheers
