First of all, we want to thank you, @Dryferm, for creating the Dry & Beauty competition, for celebrating the part of the journey that often stays in the shadows: the art of drying and curing. 🌬️✨ This is where the real magic settles in , and where patience becomes gold. After months of care, love, and learning, we reached the cure. 🌱💚 This is our Runtz, post-harvest, dried and trimmed with patience, respect, and intention. We didn’t just dry it. We listened to it. We respected what it became. For this process, we chose to go low and slow, embracing darkness, airflow, and time. We dried in a controlled environment inside the tent, with humidity around 58–62%, and temperatures between 17–19°C, no shortcuts taken. We let the branches speak to us, bending just right when the moment came. Then, we hand trimmed gently and placed the buds into Grove Bags and Jars, allowing the cure to begin while preserving every terp and crystal the plant worked so hard to build. This is the final form of our beloved Runtz from Zamnesia Seeds, cured with intention, trimmed with love, and shot with a heart full of gratitude. 🌸✨ I may not have had a professional drying machine or studio lights, but i had respect. I had patience. And i had the soul of a grower that never gave up. "We want to see your most beautiful dried buds" why there is 2 wet pictures on winners? Gz anyway to people!

When it’s time to harvest, I go with a wet trim, I cut the branches and trim off the fan leaves and sugar leaves while the buds are still fresh. Once that’s done, I cut each bud off the branch and lay them out on a 5-tier drying rack so they’ve got plenty of airflow. I usually let them dry for about 5–7 days, depending on humidity and temperature, until the small stems snap instead of bend. After drying, I move everything into vacuum sealed jars for curing. I like to burp the jars daily at first, just to release any built up moisture and keep the cure clean. I let the buds cure like that for around 8 weeks, the longer the cure, the smoother the smoke gets. Once the cure’s done, I pop a 62% humidity pack in each jar to keep things stable and then store them in a cool, dark place until I’m ready to roll one up.

I used the @Dryferm Bags in my recent harvest and it was smooth sailing. The harvest went into curing jars a couple of days ago and it was very easy to do. I will reuse the bags for my next harvest. 10/10 recommendation. Pricy, but super beginner-friendly. 👍👍👍

The harvest and drying of the individual strains took place staggered over several weeks. The buds were dried untrimmed and left on the main branches in a 60x60x160cm box, which was ventilated and filtered through the flowering box. A box with water was placed on the floor to raise the humidity to 55-60%. The drying lasted 8-11 days at 18.5 degrees Celsius. After drying, the buds were trimmed and stored in WECK jars with Boveda 58% to cure in a wooden cabinet.

We just had one of these for a product that boiled down to a 5W PC fan inside of a piece of plastic with branded silica beads....doing a competition for the 'bestest drying setup' or whatever and not a single cannatrol placed, which is rofl-territory for years to come. Trichome integrity studies, dew point mold permanent prevention, and more all clearly show from an empirical standpoint that the cannatrol aka dualTECTEK is squarely ahead of competitors. I mean, the last I checked their rental trial program hasn't had a single non-conversion, even at the multi-rack ticket.... That is just their gimmicky home unit, with the bare basics for their tek. Will be an interesting one to watch the placement of winners on.

That's a nice change when it comes to further processing and the introduction of refinement. 💪🏽

Did a wet trim on the buds, then they were hanged on hangers head down in a empty grow tent to dry. In the tent there was a oscillating fan on lowest setting (as far away from the buds as possible and not pointing at them) and some hangers with wet towels to keep humidity in a 50-60% range. of course there was carbon filter to filter odor. After around eight days the buds were dry enough to put them in a glass jar. humidity was monitored there. For some weeks the glass was opened for a few minutes every now and then before the glass with the buds was finally stored in a cool and dry place for curing.

Wet trim, i dont mind some sugar leaf in spliff ;) 7-10 days, 50-60 Rh. Would be very interesting to try out those funky things. I am a bit anti technology, so boveda packs was max i bought for curing process ;)

Old fashion 10-14 days leaf on dry, to slow the process , with 60-70 humidity, a little space and gentle breeze. Trim, then jar Push sensors, and burp daily until stable at 62/64% RH. Most times about a month curing before the roll out. Slow but a nice result

Wet trim and then hung up in my little drying corner (Dark without light entering) for about 10 days. 🌿 Once the stems made a dry cracking sound when bent, the flowers were refined in a jar with an 8-gram Humibag for about 4 weeks. In the first few days, the jar(s) were opened briefly every day. 🥫 After that, they were left to curing like a good wine. 🍷🌳 The reward was wonderfully fragrant flowers that tasted like summer when consumed. The Blueberry was dried in two ways – one plant was hung up traditionally, while the other was dried in the DryFerM-Bag. The Wedding Cake Auto was harvested a bit later and air-dried, while the F1 Hyperion was dried in the DryFerM-Bag. Each was dried until the stems broke when bent. The results were very satisfying for all strains: Especially the air-dried plants, meaning the Blueberry and the Wedding Cake Auto, showed noticeably more sparkle and a beautiful resin structure. There’s nothing to complain about in terms of taste and smell – both air and bag drying produced very good results. In the next round, the sugar leaves will be intentionally left on to see how that affects aroma and structure. Overall, the drying process went positively and without issues for both methods. Ahuuu

The two ladies were dried in the tent where they grew up. Both Mellos were hung upside down in 3-4 branches at a time. Since quite a bit of mass was developed, the branches could be distributed more evenly this way. In the tent, there were two 5W fans installed facing the floor. Most of the time, only one of the two 5W fans was running. On rainy days, the humidity would often rise to around 70%, and on those days, the second 5W fan was turned on to ensure a bit more air circulation and to avoid stagnant humid air, thereby reducing the risk of mold. Fortunately, this was only necessary on two days. After 8 days at an average of 20-22°C and an average humidity of 55-65%, the two ladies were ready to be trimmed and packed into jars. In the jars, there is a large 62% Boveda pack for 30g of flower at the bottom, and a 58% Boveda pack for 14g of flower on top. Hoping that this way, there is always minimal circulation in the jars. The jars are filled with an average of 40g, so when you gently shake the jars, the buds still move a bit. In the first week, the jars were aired out twice a day, and some air was fanned into the jars to allow for some air exchange and to remove excess humidity from the jars. In the second week, air is fanned into the jars once a day. From the third week on, this is no longer necessary. From then on, the harvest is just enjoyed. 💚

I dried my harvest in my grow tent, hanging it upside down, put a humidifier in, and set the humidity level to 56-59. I set the exhaust fan to level one and pointed a fan at the wall on the lowest setting. I cooled the room at night and then isolated it during the day, keeping the windows and doors closed so the temperature averaged around 20 degrees. The harvest dried for 11 days and was perfect in the jar at 62-65% humidity. After that, I opened the jars once a day for about 10 minutes for a week. In the second week, I only opened them every 2 days for 10 minutes. In the third week, it was every three days for just 5 minutes, and after the fourth week, once a week. After that, just occasionally. Throughout the curing process, it became milder and tastier. It smelled completely different after curing, much more harmonious, and some strains were so strong that when the jar was open, the whole apartment smelled.

Hello Everybuddy! I normaly use the technic of wettrimm and then air drying for 4 till 5 Days. After that I Put the Buds in TerpLoc zipps to get full cured in 2 Till 3 Weeks...
