I live in a hard water area, my water is roughly 350ppm. I’m having a lot of trouble with adding all and enough of my nutrients. How can I overcome this? Thanks a lot 👍

And also.. Ec meters ALWAYS measures electric conductivity of the water and its unit is siemens per meter (S/m) but most commonly converted to microsiemens/meter (μS/m) this unit is then converted to PPM and depending on the unit you are using the EC is multiplied with either 500,600 or 700. So the EC of your water could be 0.7,0.58 or 0.5 EC so you should check what multification you have in your meter 'cos if it is 700 then 0.5 EC aint that bad even 👌

Is your plants showing some kind of deficiency and nute burn at the same time or how do you know you cant add enough nutrients? For some reason I have a feeling that you have some kind of "Optimal" ec for your nutes and its hard for you to get it to that. Unless you see clear signs of nute burn you don't have to worry about giving little bit more nutes. I'm not sure what line of nutes you are using etc. but I think most plants can handle pretty high ec

Best if you have osmosis water and mix the stale water for 24 hours (after 24 hours the chlorine has evaporated somewhat) to an Ec value of 0.2. Then add Cal / Mag until the Ec is 0.4.

You'll be fine, my tapwater is about the same (EC 0,5). I'm using GHE Flora at about 50 to 60% and add calmag at 50% of recommended dose. It results in a EC of 1,4-1,6 and the plants flourish. If you dont (need to) use a calmag supplement, I think you can even fertigate almost at full strenght (but start off easy, 50% or less). It also depends on your medium: if you're growing on soil, your water is perfectly fine. Its also ok for coco. Maybe on full hydro it might be a problem, but I don't know for sure; I havent tried a hydro grow with my tapwater. Happy growing!

You could use a product to "descale" the system.. Uc roots is a wonderful product and will do all sort of cool things for your root zone.. It's expensive yes but you don't use much and it's worth it. https://cch2o.com/product/cultured-solutions-uc-roots/
