Spyder7answered grow question 5 years ago Adding 2 teaspoons/gallon of hydrogen peroxide, a disinfectant you can get at any drug store for a couple bucks, to a watering will disinfect the root zone, killing any bad bacteria in the soil and improving aeration and hardening the plant against fungal attack on the roots. Mixed at the right strength (its not more beneficial by using more than that ratio), there's no downside to using it.
I'm not sure that'll solve the wilt issue, but you can then rule out the roots and, with this grow, I began it with hydrogen peroxide: because I was adding some left over soil from a bag I'd only half used in my previous grow, the same time I started the seed soak I mixed the leftover soil with the new, some extra perlite, then watered the soil just as if I was flushing a plant (I gave 3 gallons of soil about 1.5L of hydrogen peroxide treated water) to sterilize it with the hydrogen peroxide.
I used the same ratio in the seed soak, and poured the left over water into the paper towel method (pouring off the excess) where it germinated in about 24 hours (the tap root had only barely come out, but I plant no matter how long it is once the seed is cracked). I gave it its first very light watering, after planting, with the same treated water as well though I'll switch to regular de-chlorinated tap water now that its done its thing.
One application should be enough. You'll get improved root aeration if nothing else, and its good to use once in future grows to harden the roots against fungal attack and improve aeration. If it also fixes the wilting, that would be a bonus.
