question about keeping a diary

Hello colleagues. I have a question about keeping a diary: from what moment should the beginning of flowering be noted - with a change in the light regime, or from the very beginning of the flowering of a plant? It's about feminized seed, of course. Thank!

Hi buddy you can do as you like, since there is still 18 or 12 hours of light in the menu :-) But I also do ditect from 12/12 that people here have it easier :-) but I count myself the flowering days from then as soon as the buds come about 8-12 days after the adjustment to 12/12 :-)

Salut le jardinier ! En passant en 12/12 tu déclenche la floraison et commence à compter à partir de la. Même si tu a d'abord la présence floraison pendant les premières semaines de 12 12. Bonne chance à toi

Usually the idea would to start timing from the 12/12 simple because the plant changes after this. When you turn off the lights for 12 hours it induces a biochemical reaction in the plant that says hey baby it's time to flower. The breeders times are usually 1-2 weeks shorter then they actually need because people like faster flowering strains and they tend to sell better. But for everyone reading and to try to have some commonality amongst growers.. The switch to 12/12 is when the vast majority of growers and banks start counting. Why? Well because lots of strains flower at vastly different times.. The vast majority of folks on here are growing hybrids that don't have the really long flower times like some Landrace Sativas, etc. have.

Hi there! I think it is your own preference how you want to do it. I start the flowering week when I see first flowers forming or somewhere near that and i think many others does the same. From my understanding this way you will get closer to seed banks promised flowering time and those times are almost always too short IMO.

Estas en el momento amigo, aunque el banco de semillas da una fecha estimada de floración luego de germinar, lo mejor es que veas y "leas" a tu plantitas

I'd suggest you start at the change of the light regime, as it seems most seed banks will also go by that time when calculating flowering times.
