Growth Speed of Autoflower

AGrowerNotAShower
AGrowerNotAShowerstarted grow question 5 years ago
If I start three auto seeds of the same strain, is it expected that all three will be ready for harvest at the same time? My plants look fairly healthy, but it seems as if they are growing at different speeds. This was noted before the transfer to their final pot. Thanks.

Yes they should all finish around the same time! Think of them like triplets and one of them just happened to get a stronger gene! Cheers and Happy Growing!

Typically they will finish at a similar time, especially if they are well bred for stability and consistency. This should happen regardless of the height between phenos. Because of the nature of breeding, some strains that are less bred out (eg f1, f2 generations) may have more variability with finishing times taking after one parent or the other, but this is much rarer to happen for typical autoflowers that are further bred for stability. The plants are looking good and I am sure they will produce some lovely buds 🌱👍
