Does neem oil actually mix in water? Never used the stuff, always just blast the underneath of leaves with a pump up sprayer filled with water and a little soap. Just wondering if the neem oil Is suppose to be mixed in water and if so how is it possible to mix oil with water.

You do mix it but as we all learned oil and water don't mix. Your soultion to this is some insecticidal soap mixed in to help break the oils down into the water. It also will help get rid of pesky insects! Cheers and happy growing! Check out my first grow if you have the time!

So you really dont know if it's the neem oil that kills the bugs when your adding a natural bug killer like soap. The soap is a real killer to bugs. It suffocates the little buggers which is why that is what I have always used to rid my plants of mites. A pump up sprayer with a wand to blast the under side of the leaves with the soap and water. Sure kill and very safe for your plants. Thnx for the answers guys. Was wondering how oil mixes with water, you have to kill the oil with soap, so no sence in that.

Hi! This ia what I found: To make one litre of general-purpose neem oil spray, mix 5 mL neem oil, 2 mL of liquid soap and 1 L of water. Soap acts as an emulsifier and will help to mix everything. When adding neem oil to the soap water solutiom, ho slowly and stir all the time
