Are seeds dead or can they be revived?

I have 5 white widow autos that I germinated with the paper towel method. Planted them into peat pods after the taproot was exposed and put them on a heating pad and under my 65w led light. They have not broke the surface and I just transplanted to bigger jiffy pots but look dry

Some great advice here already. I just wanted to add, perhaps next time give them a little longer in the paper towel so you can check easier (twice a day max) or too keep the paper towel wet. I had seed almost growing out of the paper towel about 6 months ago (late party purp diary) because I'd forgotten about it. I've found the hardest part about growing weed, this is something we noobs do all over the world. We can't just leave them alone, we always feel the urge to do something.

They’ll come up, be Patient. Waiting is hard but well worth it in the end. Week or a few days longer. Good luck to you.

bwahah,, forgot.. give it time.. unless you are absolutely sure it has died and begon to rot, do not go fishing around in the peat for it... even then, just throw it out unless curious what a rotting seed look like.. wait forever and a day :)

you transplanted an unsprouted seed? just becareful not to over water in that context... peat is usually sopping. water and wait upto 7 days in some cases before you need to again. if it is light, water it. feel the weight, make sure you don't keep it sopping wet, which is a danger with peat. i quick using peat plugs. when you tansplant to soil or coco, it just wicks up all the water near it and becomes a sopping wet for long periods of time and rarely dries a bit... ripe for issues.

Hey. Did you plant the tap root upwards where it started coming from the pointy end of the seed, or did you plant the root down into the soil. When seeds pop it comes out the pointy end of the seed and does a 180° turn so that means you plant the seed pointy end up. A lot of people make the mistake of putting the root downward which means the seed has to do the 180 turn. Not good. If you think you put them the wrong way and it wasn't to long ago you can try and delicately removemthem and get them the right way. Cheers

They can take up to 7 -10 days to pop out. They don't need light until they are all out. And it's suggested to keep the pellets moist but not soaked. No harm in still trying!! Hope it works out!!
