Water to runoff in organic grows

Hello. Organic grower in soil here. Do you guys always water until runoff? I’m afraid to wash away nutrients she hasn’t yet absorbed. I know in watering I’m giving her new nutes, but as I understand it’ll take some days until she can absorb them from the soil.

Hey there, from a certain point on, yes. I water until I get a bit run-off. You are saturating your soil, your are not washing it out. For example: I use 12.5l Air-Pots. I water the plant slowly until some Water tripps out of the bottom. In my case would it be around 1,5-2l per feeding. Which lasts from 2-5 days, depending on the stage of the plant. Until week 3 they don't get more than 100ml per watering, every other day. It's just to keep the soil moist. Most of the feeding happens via foliar feeding in this stage. Hope this helps a bit, good luck✌️ OimRausch
