Well best amd probably only way is to have an ec meter. Ppm's are converted numbers from ec thats measured and differing from manufacturer the ec is multiplied by 500,600 or 700 to get the PPM's

I have a question regarding Canna Boost and autopots. Do you use it in a reservoir? The ph is rising faster in res since I added it. The nutrient solution in res also got cloudy and trays became slimy. Since I use airdromes the ph also rised too much.4y ago

High ppm in drainageI flushed coco two times with 8-10 litres with CalMag (200 ppm) and it does not help. You can see in my comments to the last weeks of the diary that it doesn't matter how much ppm I water the plant, it is always 2-3 times more ppm in drainage.What should I do?3y ago

Potassium soil with neem oil and kelp extract as a foliar spray on seedlingsI have doubts about applying some foliar sprays. I've used Neem Oil + Potassium Soap with some kelp liquid extract, together without any issues. The benefit of using it now is obvious, but, are my seedlings too small to handle foliar sprays? Coco grow: the EC of my runoff is consistently 0.2 mS/cm lower as what goes in (1.1 in at this time, runoff is at 0.9). Also, PH of runoff is at 5.8, while 6,5 goes in. Is this a problem? What causes this? Its been 8 days since germination and they look healthy.

BioThrive Fertilizer Water pH & PPMI tested my BioThrive Bloom+CaMg fert water for the first time ever today; I've been feeding 4.5 pH & 340 ppm fert water solution; Soil pH is 6.7-ish per the Rapitest meter.
