Well best amd probably only way is to have an ec meter. Ppm's are converted numbers from ec thats measured and differing from manufacturer the ec is multiplied by 500,600 or 700 to get the PPM's

Very abnormal EC Runoff for CoCo Coir - please help on what I should do. The first one happened by accident when I was draining the runoff, and the other when I was bending it.And today I came across a video where the author explains that silica can cause brittleness of branches. Does anyone have experience with silica and have you experienced anything like this? I add potassium silicate with each watering, at a concentration of 15ppm
