Hi Bro, they seem to be common whiteworms (enchytraeus albidus) easy to find in compost. Harmless. Common earthworm is brown at birth. Cheers

From what I can tell... they are pot worms... in the right conditions they explode in population. Especially in earth worm farms... work the same way.. but live in harsher environments... thats fine.. i just have never seen that before.

Well, if it's worms, then there's nothing to worry about.... they feed on complex soil elements and give back simpler elements that the bacteria living in the soil will quickly convert into substances available for the plant! 👌 I wouldn't worry about it, bro!
