Tent too hot?

I added two blurple lights - I'm not sure how much they're helping growth but they are definitely making the tent hotter - about 5 degrees F. I have a fan blowing at the bottom of the tent and at top over the lights but I'm worried that it might be too hot. Should I ditch them?

Hey Growmie,
79°F is fine, most professional growers actually say 78°F is optimal for a grow tent. In the summer I can run in the lower 80's and never have an issue with heat. So no that's not too hot. Hopefully, I answered your question and remember ..."Happy Growing" and "Free your mind one puff at a time".

Bro, check the lighting you have in your tent above the plant and on its sides! 👆
You can measure the light intensity (lux) in the cultivation area above the plant!
Download a free app called "luxmeter" from the app store on your smartphone, wipe your phone's screen well, and clean it from grease and dirt. The light sensor is located on the screen side, and it often rivals individual lux meters. Check the light intensity above the plant. Adjust the lamp height so it doesn't heat the plant to shock levels but stays within the lux range. Install the app, and you'll remember me more than once, bro! It'll be like a compass for your lighting!
Effective light intensity ranges, starting from planting the plant:
Day 1 (250-500lux)
Day 2 (500-1000lux)
Day 3 (1000-2000lux)
After five pairs of leaves, full vegetation (2000-20000lux)
Flowering (20000-90000lux). In theory, the most optimal for flowering is considered to be (45000-65000lux). Try not to go above 90000 lux. Otherwise, you'll have 100% problems due to overly active processes in the plant!

If it's getting to hot they will be detrimental to your girls unless you have a lot of c02 to add to the mix. Cheers
