Expanded clay layer on bootom for better drainage

Is placing a layer of expanded clay on the botton of your pot a good idea? i only tried small rocks before for the drainage but heard those claypellets might work better (and are lighter)...

Bad soil can i change the soil halfway? 20lt pot 5th Week stunned grow for 2-3weeks. Once seed cracked i planted seed on this soil. Is it too strong for the seedling? Am i already in trouble? xPIt's from Geolia, ph5.5-6.5. It says it has guano 200g/m³, and 1kg/m³ of N14 P16 K18 fertelizer and 7.0kg/m³ of limestone. 60-75% water absortion.It composed mostly of peat it seems. I brought in a bin of my vegetable garden soil from last season. Very nice stuff - worms and organics, I ran some water through it ph 6.57 runoff.
** The only thing I am concerned about is these little sacs of spores or pollen ( not sure ) **

Combatting powdery mildew with milk?I noticed some white powder on the leaves of my plant. At first i thought it might have been from the perlite, but it came back. So i suspect it’s powdery mildew. I took to google and it recommended me to use a milk/water solution. Will this work?Week 3

Ph of the soilPh of the soil, I checked with this 2 ph meter but I dont know the credibility, if that work.. I see that is around 8.0 but I use water at 6.0ph and soil light mix biobizz, bio grow ,calmag , bio heaven. Are biology shouldn't change the ph.. how is possible? Advise?
