Hi all. I’m confused. My soil is 6.5 and my water is 6.5 but the run off is in the 4s. The plants aren’t liking this so what’s going on? My feed is easy boost by RWS, you mix with the soil and it feeds for the duration. Any ideas where this could be going wrong? Thanks

Hello friend Some ingredients will raise your soil ph like dolomite lime, some will lower your soil ph like sulfur products so if that top dressing nutrients has any of those ph lowering elements you may want to counteract them with a dolomite lime to raise the ph slightly.

Is it safe to use citric acid to lower ph of tap water? Organic grow I am looking into alternative methods to organically lower the ph of my tap water. Tap water where I live normally ranges from 7.6-7.8. I have read that using vinegar can be bad for the plants overall so Im wondering about trying citric acid? Curious to know. Thanks!

Deficiency or Nute Lock?I was a told a week prior I was feeling too much. So I stopped. I left town for 4 days and came home to the current photos. One looks like nitrogen deficiency, the other looks like calcium deficiency except I've fed 1tsp of tiger bloom, .5tsp of Cal-Mag and big bloom last week.

I just gave some Canna PK (25 days since 12/12). Is it too early ? Bruce Banner 60-65 days of flowering Closed irrigation hydro system with clay balls. If it is too soon, will I have issues ? And what PH do you use ? I read it should be 6.3-6.4 at this stage but Canna advises 6.2 max. Thanks !

Nitrogen toxicity mid-flower So I overfed during veg and now my plant has nitrogen toxicity. Besides making leaves super dark, crunchy, and yellow it has also made my buds pistils curl and brown way too early. I’ve been flushing often with water. Way too little watering - what should I do?I water my plants with about 1.5L every 3-4 days. My pot size is 18L, filled with 15L. So they should be watered with 5L each according to CANNA - but my plants are not that thirsty! What would you guys recommend me to do? PH is fine but I don't know about the EC. Thank you!
