Hi all. Iām confused.
My soil is 6.5 and my water is 6.5 but the run off is in the 4s. The plants arenāt liking this so whatās going on?
My feed is easy boost by RWS, you mix with the soil and it feeds for the duration.
Any ideas where this could be going wrong?

Hello friend
Some ingredients will raise your soil ph like dolomite lime, some will lower your soil ph like sulfur products so if that top dressing nutrients has any of those ph lowering elements you may want to counteract them with a dolomite lime to raise the ph slightly.

So really I should only be testing the run off ph and adjusting my feed water to get runoff to be in the 6s ?

Now since the plant is drawing a lot more water up through the roots, I've noticed very slight nute burn on the newest leaf growths.

Today, I switch a few over to Professor Bruce Bugbee's soil-less mix :
50% Vermiculite
50% Peat Moss
(& some gypsum and dolomite lime..)
However instead of using Vermiculite I put Perlite, like an idiot!š
Should that be fine until ready to transplant to super soil in due course?Week 2
