Nutrient burn from no nutrients?

CanadianTimber

Plant is showing signs of nutrient burn but she is planted in fox farm ocean forest and have had zero nutrients added. What could be causing this? Have only been in the soil for a week or more and it’s new soil.

It’s not holes in the leaves in worried about, it’s the edges that are getting burnt from some sort of nutrient issue. I just can’t seem to think of what it could be since it’s only fox farm and no additives.

What the 8thchevron said too . He's right there . I always avoid spraying plants unless there's a problem and you need a quick fix. Lights can burn the leaves when they're wet . Good point by the 8thchevron.

Could be a pottasium, magnesium or calcium defiency for me. Its hard to tell under the blurple light. First thing is to check your PH . incorrect pH will not allow certain nutrients to be uptaken by the plant (lockout) . As you're using fox farms (I use soilless) I'm guessing you have all the nutes in the soil that you need . So my guess is the PH of your water maybe off . If that's all fine then I'm not sure. Just add some calmag lol good luck and happy growing 🌱

Looks like you're overwatering and also getting the leaves wet. Water on the leaves will act like a magnifying glass under lights and will burn your leaves. The only time to get the leaves wet is if your humidity is too low or you have a nutrient deficiency to correct quickly. Let her dry up before watering again and if you must get the leaves wet, do it during dark hours.
