Test after dry

How does this look? I hope good as I took half of plant off this morning. How long to let the bottom continue growing? I suppose until it is ready. Can the top half be test consumed after drying period? I'm thinking 5 to 7 days.

You can consume it after drying it, you might even flash dry it on the microwave.
The thing is, it will be dry, but not cured. You still need to cure the buds to enjoy them at their finest.
So yes, you can smoke any kind of dry bud, but if it's not cured properly you will have harsh smokes because all the plant matter and clorophil hasn't broken down.
Hope you have some extra patience and able to wait for the best experience ever, but in any case try and see for yourself.

Beautiful trichome development! Yes, you can smoke it as soon as it dries, but without curing you wont get that awesome flavor you've been dreaming of. It may taste a little leafy too, but the effects will be exactly what you're looking for.

Looks like I can see some ambers in there! Some nice looking bud you got there. I just did the same with my last harvest, I took the top buds and let the bottom of the plant finish. I checked truchs everyday for the next 5 days until se was done. 5 to 7 sounds about right to get some light on those lower buds. Just keep a close eye out everyday.
