Hi,
I did the same and your plants will be fine.
in fact, I used some dollar store wire and it was damaging the stems. One of the wires was Was cutting thru the stem.
I took out all the wire from lst and the stems are healing up.

That is from your clips rubbing against your stem it happens. Try not to break the stem and you will be fine, plant will heal itself
