is too. It's not really a 1200w, that's an "equivalence" claim made by manufacturers. I find companies that do this are dishonest so I don't trust them and don't but from them (unless they specifically tell you it's a 1200W equivalent or relevant, but even that claim is sketchy to me). Pmal is right too. Your plant should be able to switch to a stronger light without hurting. Make sure your height is good as he suggests and check your real wattage to see if it's actually better.

Imagine you be livin comfortably under a 72 W CFL and all of a sudden the Sun is 15x stronger... what would you do.. Duck away, concentrate on surviving... Your Damsel can absorb just a certain amount of photons, I think you are just flooding her with light which she can't use. I doubt that you really have true 1200W in your LED, but plants need to adapt light changes and that can take a few days. I would suggest to bring enough distance between light and plant.
