I need a little help with when to harvest my ladiez, the trichs have been present for the last 3 or 4 weeks and seem mostly cloudy? A lil amber but the pistils remain white?

Signs of beeing close to Harvest:
Plant is changing color to autumcolor// fading out
Pistils are orange by 75 percent ( not all strains do it...........like gorilla its hard to say here if you look at pistils)
and here we go... the trichomes...... Get a jewelers loupe // magnifier glass to look at trichomes,,, they should be all milky at least
and from here on ( beeing milky) its just your Choice when to chop the ladies

Like I said not all strains show orange / brown Pistils... but trichomes dont lie

It's all depending on your own preference and what you're growing for..
If you're growing to smoke, and want an energetic high, then don't wait for amber.. Go for milky/cloudy trichomes only.
- If you however want to get stoned, then go for amber trichomes. The more amber, the more stoned the high.
- Clear trichomes don't posses much THC, so should be avoided if you want a high at all.
You can mix milky and amber as much as you want, depending on how much of a stoner you want your smoke to be.

Heya!
If you judge by the pistils usually 70-90% ambered is a good time to harvest. The best way is to use a small microscope or jewelers loupe to have a glance at the trichromes. Most people harvest when all the trichromes are milky to 30% amber. If you harvest with more milky trichs it will produce more of a head high effect, where as more amber trichromes will give you the couch lock effect.
I have had plants ready to harvest with lots of white pistils left still and some where they were all brown.

Virgin CBG "Pop" My PeppercornEver grown out a CBG plant before?
When should I harvest, mostly cloudy, some / no amber?
CBG is said to be the mother cannabinoid, if it degrades, "amber trichomes" will it still be CBG? or will it turn into THC/CBD/CBN/CBC or any of the other many cannabinoids?

VerständnisfrageWarum sollte man bei einer Indica Genetik auf amber Trichome warten um körperliche Effekte zu erzielen? Ist das nicht genau der genetische Unterschied zwischen Indica und Sativa? Bekomme ich denn umgedreht bei Sativa auch körperliche Effekte, wenn die Trichome amber werden?
