You "can" but is it worth it? that answer may be out there with proper research... certainly can't guess about it without understanding how much production is lost in a more resolved way when you remove so many fan leaves. Various biological processes need the products of photosynthesis for plant growth... so, taking that away will at some point have a negative effect. it can't grow without those sugars and the energy they contain to power endothermic reactions necessary to build structures, organelles, etc etc... . bud density pistil coloration trichome coloration (on calyxes, and ignore the trichomes on the leaves) all three of these are great ways to be consistent about when you harvest. you may be at beginning of window... after that it's all about personal preference.. the longer it goes th e more of a sedative effect degradated THC (no longer "d-9-THC," but simpler to say this way) will cause when smoked.

Leaves are the most important part in plant growth. They store all nutes you gave her to so they are available almost instantly. Plus, you can spot deficiency that you could not see in a skeleton plant. Cutting leaves extend the flowering period due to the stress the plant receives. There's is no art in defoliation, you are just mutilating a plant.

You may as well harvest her now, you have basically killed it by cutting off all the leaves. The small bud leaves can not make enough energy to sustain life........... No leaves = no energy = no growth.

Looks like you just harvested her in the pot. Looks good cut and hang in a dark room with 60%rh. Small fan for circulation not directed on the plant. Cheers!

Howdy!! what a beauty you have there buddy, for better view of those trichomes try to get a x60 or + magnifier glass (US ON AMAZON THE CHEAPEST), Give her a least one more week it would be better , YOU also can take off fan leaves blocking bud sites or even all fan leaves, each strain reacts on a different way, but if you already take off some leaves and she seens to thrive you can heavy defoliate her more. Happy Growing

*can't grow optimally" is a better phrase... as some photosynthesis is sstill taking place but extremely reduced or significantly attenuated with non-leaf, green plant material.

You can certainly grow without leaves - you still have some (the sugar leaves!) ... I'd wait until you see some amber start to show in the trichs but it won't be long - maybe a week and you'll be ready to go! Good luck!

has it been flowering for only 4 weeks? i just took a look at your diary and thats really odd. i still suggest you harvest and move on to your next run no point in losing time over this crop without leaves its not gonna get much better than what it is now. so dont wait for 3-4 weeks in the hopes of a very slightly better crop pop some seeds and veg in that same amount of time for a better harvest next run.
