One of plants looks disformed. Should I chop it or risk it becoming hermie and time waste? You can compare these two in my grow diary. Discard it? Keep it?

One of my two plants (same strain, same seed batch) is significantly weaker than the second. It is disformed from day 1, looks ugly. Is it just a stunted grow or bad genetics? Should I chop it? Can it become hermie and spoil my harvest and waste my time? Drinks less than 2nd.

Hey Kurtzweil, I've had this happen to a few different grows, and from what I can tell, its mainly bad seed, maybe part overwatering. I've let the plant grow out and it was fine, it was a bit stunted but caught up just fine. I'd say if you love the strain keep it going, if not, try a different one if you have extra seeds and want to utilise the space better. m0use

Hi MangoDudu, thank you for your answer. I have limited space, I can pop in another seed of that strain (never again Green House Seeds, one was dud, other was twin and both died). I know that the decision needs to be made now so I am collecting all the advice from fellow growers that I can. What would you do? I cannot decide whether to give it time or just start a new one that will be 2 weeks behind his bigger sister.

Hello! looks like a loser seed. I have experienced plants that have recovered to be the largest and most beautiful and others that were better discarded. evaluate according to your spaces, times and needs. if you have space to germinate another seed maybe it is better to do it immediately, so as to avoid further delays, however the choice is to be made now. I with my spaces would plant another seed and evaluate later, if you do not have this possibility you have to decide whether to risk a little or throw some seeds and start again. Hope to help you and sorry for my english ✌️🏽💪🏼 Good luck , keep on growing

New leaves tend to look slightly better, but have less fingers than on 2nd plant. Will she grow out of it or should I stop wasting time and just plant new seed?
