Righty grows as on steroids. Beautiful plant. All is symmetrical, strong and above expectations. But the second one, Lefty... well, he looks like he cannot decide whether to be a plant or hay. He does not drink much, he does grow but look at the leaves, they are not symmetrical, twisted, whole plant looks malformed and disformed. It is such a difference between two of them. I don't know whether to chop it now or risk further growing and him becoming hermie or worse.

Hi, could you look at both plants, one looks slightly disfigured. Both are the same batch of seeds. Is it something I should be concerned about? They are like, I don't know, have more teeth than the other plant, have holes on edges and are narrower. Or is it normal for first?

Hey there Kurtzweil, plants are unique individuals called phenotypes, you have more totally stable phenotype and one phentotype it looks a bit more unstable at this young age. I'm quite sure it's nothing to worry about, sometimes this does happen at the start of the seedling's life, usually it will "muscle through" and will not be stunted after. So dont worry too much but keep monitoring it. Hope this helps ! 🚀

One of my two plants (same strain, same seed batch) is significantly weaker than the second. It is disformed from day 1, looks ugly. Is it just a stunted grow or bad genetics? Should I chop it? Can it become hermie and spoil my harvest and waste my time? Drinks less than 2nd.

Hey Kurtzweil, I've had this happen to a few different grows, and from what I can tell, its mainly bad seed, maybe part overwatering. I've let the plant grow out and it was fine, it was a bit stunted but caught up just fine. I'd say if you love the strain keep it going, if not, try a different one if you have extra seeds and want to utilise the space better. m0use
