what is the best way to make hash and other concentrates? and why.

so is there mo other growers who make hash or other concentrates from there harvest? @MangoDudu i have not tried the trim bin and i also agree @ russrahi the bigger presses are the way to go for large pressing.

Here a heated 1T press cost about 450€, better go fot the 4T on around 600€ but are a lot of money and all the way! Also u have some other cool stuff like trimbin ( here cost 250€ crazy!) or siftscreens. Will goo deeper in the eu market maybe i will find some better prices

yeah i agree @russrahl i think i spent about 250. its a 1 ton press, i get a little bit as well but it adds up. super smooth too. i process my flowers in to all kinds of goodies, i like flower as it last longer, i like concentrates in all forms as you do not need to smoke much but it is so good it does not last me.

yes @MangoDudu you do it like this get hash bags dry ice put some dry ice in all the bags, put the bags onside each other in order to bigger small put plant is that has been cured. beat the bags with a small piece of wood or whatever. the dry ice in each bag gets rid of that green your talking about. use each bucket bag for sifting. your hash is moist like bubble hash and the terps are real strong this way. my first try i did not use different bucket screens just the one and there was a lot of plant matter in it, green salt it looked like. but it depends on strain. i do like rosin though too

Really dry ice is soo good? Also with waste material? Have a shop at 25km from home so have think about do it, but i see the green colour and i’ve think that is too much contaminated. Delta8 thc is very good, but a pain in the ass to extract , have to find a good strain with it

yes here is how i ve tried , i have made dry ice hash and it is nice, real easy to do and taste great, i have also used the rubbing alcohol to capture the trichomes and heat it at low temps using a heat gun to evaporate the alcohol , you dont want to over cook it towards the end, it , this produces a honey to shatter substance, you always get everything. i do have a press as well it is nice but it is a smaller one so the process takes a bit to collect a bunch, but it taste wonderful. at hit the temps at 200 for like 160 seconds, i have made tinctures using 151 rum, as well as made oils for edibles. i have never made bubble hash and ive been at this for a while. the dry ice hash though was by far the tastiest and the terps were real loud when i made it. i dont have a favorite way, they all taste good. has anyone heard of delta 8 thc?

Ho provato il Bho ma senza una pressione negativa lo reputo troppo impuro, quindi home made una soluzione dispendiosa e anche pericolosa però con una buona resa. A secco non mi trovo, troppa dispersione e delle buone reti costano davvero molto sopratutto qua in europa però mi piace l’hash del magreb quindi è una buona opzione nonostante tutto. Dry ice troppo impuro lo scarto a prescindere . Ice è il giusto compromesso , un po di rotture ma un ottimo prodotto finale e con un costo materiale abbastanza basso ( anche se si prende una lavatrice ) Ho appena messo in freezer 70g di cime e altrettanto trimming in attesa di avere il budget per acquistare l’attrezzatura e penso proprio andrò di iceolator

I used to make a lot of oil with iso, still do with my trim. But I recently purchased a Rosin press and what a dream. If you hit it a lower heats(180f) you get a shatter like beautiful golden substance. Hit it a little higher heat(200) and you get what I can only describe as the purest golden honey oil I’ve even seen. still a little hard when cold but a little bit of heat and it’s nice and malleable. I like to spread it on a paper old school style with half and half weed/tobacco...lol As for hash, haven’t really tried my hand at it yet, which is kinda weird cause I’ve been doing this stuff for decades. Maybe I’ll give it a go next round. Cheers 💨
