Auto flower peak

Auto flower ripen peak question. I just saw a video where a couple who exclusively grew auto flowers regularly said mid 80s is the max number of days autos peak and they won't ripen more than that. Any truth to that? I ask bc I struggled to see amber trichs 90+ days on my Auto.

No truth whatsoever!
I follow a grower named Windy City autos on IG—- he grew photos for years and now just does the super high end autos. He told me average is 90 days for an auto.
I guess it also depends on the light cycle too.
My fastest auto was 68 days and my slowest “true” auto has been 115. And everything else between! Just depends!

16 weeks for a BCN Critical XXL Auto with no amber, same pack of seeds 10 week 10% amber, it all depends on the bean in my opinion,

Yeah, no.. I mean maybe with certain strains you could attempt to make that argument - but given the instability of most autoflower genetics, its not a blanket statement you can stand behind. Who was the couple/people?

Hey Flex1, it all depends on the genetics of the plants. This same couple can grow the same variety of autoflowers and will have more or less days to maturity. But if this same couple grows two different varieties of autoflowers (e.g., plant #1 8 to 9 weeks, plant #2 9 to 10 weeks) at the same time, then the maturity of the plants will not be identical.

Nanna late flowerHey,
Glookies (8-10 week strain).
I’ve just finished week 7 and realised two buds have nanna’d. Only happened in last week. I chopped the buds but am now thinking, should I finish this week which will be week 8 or ride it out to ripen more. trichomes are cloudy no amber.

Harvest/Partial Harvest tomorrow, or leave it unattended for 7 days over Christmas?So let me preface this by saying that I'd LOVE to come home to some dried weed, ready for curing, but I don't want a subpar bud. My original plan was to chop tomorrow before I leave town, but many trichs still look clear (I think), w/ a few amber. Advice? More pix/info in diary!

Plant development erratic. How to harvest.My plant seems to be developing at different rates on different parts of plant. Half the tops seem ready for harvest. Amber trichromes starting to show up. Other areas still white undeveloped buds. Should I till things even out or harvest now. Or harvest in chunks.

Should i harvest or wait? partialy harvest? do nothing - just wait for a couple of weeks.Sugar leaves on buds have mostly amber, if you go lower on the flower they are still milky. If you go to the lowest buds they i milky and some empty (10-15%). by the catalog flower needs cca 12 weeks to be done, now in 11 week. See pictures (top buds).

Auto late flowering?Plants look healthy and there are some hairs visible, but no realy bud production yet. Plants are Northern Lights autoflower. I am wondering if it is normal to not see any bud growth at this stage of an autoflower as I've seen lots of other autos flowering in week 5?
