Quick question, I have my light (HPS - 250w) 40 cm above the plants - should I get the light lower? One of my babies has the leaves going up. I guess she is enjoying the light but I have doubts regarding the light distance.

Where the back of your hand feels comfortable for a minute your plants will be comfortable. At 15 inches your close to being at 600 watt height. 250 watt run much cooler than even a 400 watt and can be kept quite a bit closer. Cheers

They look happy where it is. If they are praying up like that then you don't want to push them any harder.

Do I keep dimming my light to try to get proper DLI?Currently at 22" above soil at 50% intensity and still getting ~50DLI at Germ/Seedling stage (too high?). It's a 240W LED. Do I keep dimming the light or do I change light schedule (24h currently) to get proper DLI?

regarding the light spectrum ratio. what is the ideal light spectrum for both the vegetative and flowering phases?
Do you use 3500K lights during the vegetative stage, or only use cold white lights at 6000K? do you then switch in flower to 3500K lights along with 370-780nm?

Removing plant from tent during light cycle in flower.Just switched to 12/12 in my first ever grow. I know that any light penetrating during the 12 hours of dark screws with growth cycle, but if removing my plants from tent during light for defoliating and watering bad as well? PLEASEE help me find the issues with 2 of my seedlings (3 seeds are from the same autoflower strain and its their day 5 in the soil after germinating withPlant 1 is growing with weird leaf shape and size (there is a mini seedling next to it that i havent touched yet and i dont know what it is!)
Plant 2 grew with 1 totally bent down initial leaf and the new pair of leaves that are curled inside.
As reference plant 3 has been great

What LED to get? how close can you have LED?What LED light should i purchase for 1.2m x 1.2m x 1.8m high lighthouse tent, cant be a square one because of the shape of the tent plus ive looked at the Skyline 600w MK2 but would like some experienced advice. Is light distance an issue.

My leaves head upwards, is it a bad sign? [Autoflowering]First time I get this far, I sometimes noticed after I water the leaves start to head upwards, or even without reason during the day.... then go down again.
What is the reason for this you think? Is my light too far? or not enough something? I only watered twice in 10 days.
