Please Help! Seedlings are cupping and twisting!

All my seedings, that are different strains, are tacoing and twisting!! Im starting my seedlings indoors under HLG 65 at 18 in. 78 degrees, 50% RH. I do not understand why they are all doing this (except my white widow) Do i need to move my light further away?

I just had a little look at your light, I dont think it's that. 290ppfd is the maximum they will be getting at 18" I believe they can take upto 300 at the seedling stage. I think it's a root issue caused by poor drainage, I actually experienced something similar on my very first grow. My plant looked exactly like your Q.B. my drainage was poor, constantly overwatered

How long they been in cups? After sprout, 3-4 days tops in that size. There is way more roots than what you see up top.

Looks like a few issues. First is weak genetics. Second over watering in the solo cups. Third changing the environment for the seedlings.

It isn’t the light, it’s the soil. The EC level of the soil is too high for these seedlings. At this stage it should be somewhere around 1.1 mS. Check the drain with your EC meter to confirm.

I don't have that brand of LED but I'm sure mine recommends 28 inch away for seedlings
