Exhaust always necessary, intake for a small amount of plants is enough just opening the door daily...

Smelly room, with filter should I be able to smell flowering buds?I have a 3x3 grow tent with a 4” fan and filter. The filter is in the tent and exhausts into the room. I taped the filter to the line and line to the fan so no pinhole leaks. The fan is rated for 198 cfm. I have it on low because when it’s high the smell is worse.Setup. Ventilation

Best Humidifier for 3x3x2 grow tent and best way to set up?I’m about to buy a dehumidifier. Finding one with programable humidity levels makes them too big 4 my tent & the small ones can’t be programmed to turn off when humidity is too low. Can I get a cheap one with no controls and manage humidity with my Humidistat alone? Will it work?Setup. Ventilation

The top of my tent, the vent is open and I’ve opened the observation window at bottom to allow air in. I’ve two fans, one at canopy level and one in top corner opposite the top vent ?Setup. Question about ventilationI have a 200cm tall tent with a carbon filter connected to an extracter fan/ duct leaving the top corner of my tent.
I have no intake air fan connected, although the walls of the tent are bending inward- should I add an intake fan in the bottom of the tent?Week 1

I never worried about intake in the past, I just made sure my fan up top was sucking air out of the tent to create negative pressure. Thoughts on intake fans or having the back flap of the tent open?
