If the idea was that air comes in from outside, passes through the filter, and the scent of weed fills your entire room - then everything is set up correctly. I see that the arrow on the fan points towards the filter. If you turn the fan around, it will create a push; the fan's power will create excess pressure inside the box and the smells won't fill the room, as the filtered air will exit through the duct (of course, it will be harder to detect your plants if you're using a filter). I suggest just changing the direction of the air by repositioning the fan so that the arrow points from the filter towards the duct. But this is on the condition that the air in your room is relatively "fresh," not warmer than 22-23 degrees Celsius.
