Deficiency problems

Some plants are still struggling, been watching ph closely both in and runoff, steady at 6.1-6.5 Biggest problem is that the stunted ones' leaves are a bit droopy and darkgreen still, and they drink a lot less than the healthy ones. Not sure where to start to diagnose the cause.

Your pH is too low for soil. Shoot for 6.8-ish, slightly acidic is best. Raising pH will help N-uptake in plant..this should take care of the lower leaves yellowing. Some tip issues... May need to re-assess balance of your fertilizer mix. I'd get pH in order first, then fiddle with composition of fertilizers. stick to wet-dry cycle. wait for pots to get light -- top 1" dry in most contexts, but feeling weight is more precise. the first picture with darker leaves may have more going on... i'd still get the pH in order first. It is too low for soil. Soil needs a higher pH due to how it impacts ease of uptake of various elements. N is more readily availble at a higher pH. They recommend lower pH for soilless and hydro to slow N down a bit relative to other needed nutrients. could be too much Mg, but without calculating ppm from your guaranteed analysis lables, it's a stab i the dark.. look at what you provide and make a common sense change --- After pH is fixed and you see how that impacts health.

If you are only watering when pots are light, then Its not overwatering. If ph runoff is between 6.1 and 6.5, ph is not likely the problem either. That leaves nutrient levels, if you are feeding everytime you water, that is going to cause problems. I do feed, feed, ph'd water. This will allow you to flush out excess salts and prevent toxicity. You may also want to drop the nutrient levels in your solution. Remember, less is more. Don't remove the yellow leaves, they will fall off on their own. Hopefully this helps you. Happy growing.

This is a good onešŸ˜… The lower leaves yellowing are usually a sign of a lack of nitrogen, the burnt tips are a sign of toxicity. You may have a lockout situation. If you're not overwatering, I would say the ph of your medium remains too high. Do you have an acidic buffer? If your medium is stable at 6.5, that might be it. Nitrogen is absorbed closer to 6 if I am not mistaken. The toxicity could be an excess of complex salts bulding up due to not being absorbed. Not quite sure on this one, but I would start by removing the yellow leaves. Curious to see what the issue actually is. Best of luck
