Drainage issue

Fruitgrower
Fruitgrowerstarted grow question 4 years ago
I'm not quite sure why this cup doesn't absorb its waterings when the other two solo cups are getting Watered every day. All 3 cups have no drainage. They are all grown in the same conditions. My first instinct is lack of drainage, do I need to make some holes, bottom or side?

Definitely need some drainage holes. Without them, you're gonna get root rot (no bueno!). I'd poke some holes around the corners on the bottom, where the sides meet the bottom of the solo cup. That should fix your issues!

YES!!! Multiple holes and drainage! Those are over watered for sure! The roots need oxygen to breathe and they are drowning.
