Tall seedlings

I started with lamp on 80cm, on day 3-4-5, so the stems were growing very tall. I decided to rapidly hang the lamp much closer (40cm on day 6-7). They start "buffing up" now, but 2 of 3 really fell down so i had to start supporting them. Hopefully I made the right choice?

Nice job, they will be fine. If you are concerned, you could always top your pots up with more soil so that it buries a portion of the stems, thus providing a bit more support. Over time your plant will send out roots from the buried portion of stem. Try not to have your fan blowing directly on your seedlings at this age/size, far better to have the fan blowing against a wall at 45-60 upward degree angle, so that the air goes around in a circle - off one wall, off the roof, off the opposite wall then back down to your babies. This will create good air CIRCulation without buffeting your fragile seedlings. You could just leave them too, either way they will grow normally. Hope this helps.... Organoman.

Give some gentle airflow as recommended and they will strengthen up in a week. You can incorporate silica into your feeding regiment to promote stronger healthier plants as well. Good luck

I would start giving gentle breeze with a small fan, I believe It will build up thicker/stronger stem over time and also always great for air circulation. Cheers!

You made the right choice, the ones you fixed will be fine, the main stem will thicken and support itself in no time. As long as you aren't seeing signs of light stress, you are good to go. Happy growing.
