My seedling just fell over

All of the sudden a healthy looking seedling decided to fall/bend over, it does have the thinnest stem of them all. Why is this happening and how can I prevent it with my other seedlings? Outside temperature is 24⁰ and I water them twice a day with pH-balanced water

its kind of hard to tell, but it could be damping off. which is a fungi i think and your stem will get skinny and the plant will fall over and die, usually its from watering too much. or could be that it just stretched from not enough light(which is unlikely cause your outside) ,but in that case just add more soil around the stem to keep it up and you'll be fine.

Watering twice a day is bit much tho... you want the ground to dry out after watering for good rooting. Good luck!

I have only tried growing outdoors from seed a few times, wind I presume always did that to mine. Never got any past 10 days when I start them outside. It's prob where I have them as its not very sheltered. Best way I have found is start them inside 1st and let them get established a little before moving outside.
