Flushing

I am on week 8 right now and my ladies are not ready yet. Week 8 with the watering schedule I have consists of two more waterings. I think it will be better to continue with nutes and week 9 flushing. But is flushing actually necessary ?

A soil soak flush is designed by nutrient companies to sell another product. Of this I'm convinced. No need to flush. But near the end of the plants life cycle I would suggest around 2 weeks before harvest stopping nutrients and use only water. This will allow the plant to feed off its self and remove the nasty taste and flavors from what you've worked so hard to grow. 🤘😤

No, you don't actually have to flush, here is an article about it. https://hightimes.com/grow/new-research-shows-flushing-plants-before-harvest-may-be-unnecessary/ And there is a lot more if you decide to search yourself on google. You will just be starving your plants at the time where they fatten up the most.

She has a good 2-3 weeks left before harvest, when I used to grow in soil what I would do is just start feeding plain ph'd water once the plant had about 2 weeks left. This would allow the plan to use up the remaining nutrients in the soil, and what she has stored in her leaves. You get some nice color changes also. Happy growing.

Yes, it definitely is! You don't want any of those chemicals in your smoke.
