You are only in week 5. At this point they have stopped stretching and will focus on building flowers. Make sure your are feeding minimal nitrogen and more phosphorus and potassium, and you will notice more flower growth

OK, thanks. Unfortunately, you have caused irreversible damage to your plant by cutting all those healthy green leaves off and this is the answer to your question. All those healthy green leaves were providing your plant with energy to grow her flowers. Now that those healthy green leaves are gone, she is struggling to make enough energy to continue flower development. Each leaf is like a "solar panel". Less "solar panels = less energy produced = less growth. However, this is not the complete story. Each leaf also contains a "store" of deposited vital elements, like amino acids, carbs, sugars etc. that your plant will draw upon during flowering. It is far easier and more efficient for your plant to do so during flowering than to make these vital elements from new. This is why leaves on flowering cannabis will go yellow, even though nutrition and health may seem optimum during flowering. The only leaves that should be removed are the ones that have gone yellow, for by this time, they have served their purpose. Removing leaves to allow light to penetrate through to the "bud sites" is pointless. The flowers do not need direct light to grow. They do however need those big green healthy leaves to make energy to grow the flowers. So, your plant has received a "double whammy" - less energy being produced and less instantly available growth elements. Their is now nothing that can be done to remedy the situation. Your only option is to be patient. No doubt your plant will continue flowering, unfortunately, the nett result of removing too many healthy green leaves is slower growth and fewer and smaller flowers due to being deprived of energy production and the storage of vital growth elements in the leaves. After experimenting with this beautiful plant for 35+ years, I am yet to find a healthy cannabis plant that will shed healthy green leaves, ever. Cannabis can not, I repeat, can not "channel" energy into flower growth. All energy produced is used throughout the entire plant. Removing healthy green leaves reduces your plants ability to produce this magical grow energy. Less energy produced equals slower and smaller growth. It is that simple. Defoliation is probably the single most misunderstood aspect of cannabis cultivation. Your plant needs maximum energy to grow her biggest and best flowers. Sadly, removing healthy green leaves deprives your plant of the opportunity to generate maximum energy. Try leaving those healthy green leaves to do their thing for your next grow. You may be pleasantly surprised by your plants' vigour and her accelerated maximum flower growth. Hope this helps.... Organoman.
