Stonerdanswered grow question 4 years ago Yes training is always good to increase yield! start by filling your pot leaving about 2.5-5cm/1-2inches of stem above ground, then wait until you have about 3-4 leaf nodes (you're about one set of leaves from it) then chop off the top new growth - Dont cut the 2 new growth shoots located at the internode (leaf connecting to the stem) of the top mature leaves.
After topping your plant wait until the new growth shoots get to about 5cm/2inches long and start tying them down to spread out the growth and get more light exposure - search up mainlining.
